           man, was lapis ever laying it on thick.

          she was leaning her head on peridot’s shoulder, a small mischievous smile on her face and her hand on the younger gem’s thigh. this was hardly an appropriate place to be doing it; at least, as long as you don’t consider a place sacred to humans that talked about sex being bad an appropriate place. (yeah, they were supposed to be learning about human culture, but she was bored, and there was an empty room right there.)

            for her part, though, she was trying to be somewhat subtle about it. only occasionally lightly kissing peridot’s neck. sometimes brushing her hand against her crotch. whispering lewd things in her ear. okay, she wasn’t being subtle, but the humans couldn’t hear her, so that was what mattered.

             Was Lapis drunk? Maybe a little bit; not as much as she could be. But hey, her slightly clouded judgement was the only way she could lean against her girlfriend and say that... in public, anyway.

              lapis gently put her hands on either side of peridot’s face, making sure that she could wriggle away if she really wanted to but definitely getting a good hold on her mate. the older gem closed the distance between their faces almost immediately and pressed her lips against peridot’s in a firm, almost possessive kiss, letting her hands slide down to rest on her waist within a few moments.
