Interactive Adventure: Sewers and Monsters (Intro)
The jail cells was cold and unhospitable, but that was given, as they were not supposed to make you feel comfortable. She sighed and rubbed her wrists hurt from the cuffs they brought her in here. The ceiling was wet and droplets of water kept hitting against the stone floor, slowly driving her insane. Tap, tap, tap. She grinded her teeth and leaned back in, analysing what got her in here in the first place. This is what she gotten for being chivalrous and trying to help innocent victim of village mob mentality. She did not even think and moment the poor Tiefling boy was jumped, she rushed in for his defence. It all happened so fast. Three man got out their swords and moved towards cornered boy, who nervously attempted to cast some spell, but got interrupted with hit upon a face. She kicked off her chair and swooped in between the other man, already swinging his sword and her own blade blocking the way, while she whispered a spell under her breath, energy crackling in between fingers of her right hand, until it formed sort of a ball of lightning energy. She pushed her hand forward towards the incoming villagers as Witch’s Bolt flew forward passing in cone through everyone in front of her. The men screamed, their bodies spasming in response to the spell and thudding onto the ground, passing out. She only managed to breath out, before the heavy noise of guard boots hit the floor outside. Another instinct kicked in as she instructed the boy to get the fuck out and run until he was sure he is safe. He managed to slip away unnoticed just seconds before the guards run in. Watching the scene, with her sword in her hand and the smell of ozone still in the air, she only managed to raised her hands up before three grown men tackled her to the ground and dragged off towards the guard station and local dungeon. Thrown into cold cell, she spend half an hour explaining the men in the tavern started it and she was only defending herself. Another half an hour trying to talk herself out of another lousy, low paid job for the town. That barely worked and they gave her until dawn to make a decision. Remain in cold, humid jailcell until they decide what to do with her (implied: hanging) or thrown into sewers in hopes she manages to slay whatever was murdering locals dumb enough to lurk in the filth. Her eyes snapped back and watched the sole guard watching her cell. He seemed bored and sleepy, probably doing double shift. She could use it. Then her eyes moved towards the neighbour cells. One was empty, filled with pile of bones, which did not really bode well. The other one held a silent figure, hood thrown over their form, it was hard to make out whether they were female, male or even alive, since they did not flinch or move from their perching position since she got here. She had no weapons, she really did not have much of a wiggle room for action. What should she do? (You guys can make a decision on her action, for which I will later throw d20 dice and decide how well she succeeded, please send the actions into ask box.) 1) Charm the guard and then knock him out, getting keys and your equipment. 2) Communicate with the silent figure in next cell. 3) Remain still and wait in cell to accept the offered job later 4) Other (free option for you guys to run wild with)
(( So we have differing anons… two outnumbers one but I’ll strike a compromise)) A
Remember when Phil made Interactive Adventures?
Fuck i miss them reblog if he should make another.
The night after
(interactive adventure)
Basil woke up on the ground. He was on muddy grass, and he could see the aftermath of the solstice festival spread over the ground.
His head felt like a block, cloudy and gray. He looked at the glass on the ground next to him which smelled like hard cider. Too much to drink. And then he turned onto his back to find a stranger looking at him. The stranger had a mask on and they were holding out a dagger. Basil yelped inside his head.
"H-Hand me your money, f-fast!" They shouted. He could tell they didn't have much practice. Their stance was as shaky as their voice, they could easily be pushed over if he shoved their center. But they did have a dagger. He could also see a path behind them, though it required going through a few alleys.
What should he do?
Run away
Knock them over and run
Push them and fight
(This is an interactive adventure. Send an ask about what you think he should do next. Interactions from characters are welcome too.)
