Yesterday was also the opening day of the annual WestK FunFest in Hong Kong’s West Kowloon Cultural District (and what a gorgeous day!). 😺 This year at Harbourside East Lawn of Art Park is The Cats That Slept for a Thousand Years by Air Giants art studio, an installation of three giant, inflatable, robotic sleeping cats that respond to your presence and touch. 🐈 // (c) Jenny Lam 2026

Thank you for the warm reception of our frozen world at yesterday’s Cryptobiosphere launch at Tenjinyama Arts Studio. This exhibition seemed to materialise overnight, as if it had been waiting here all along.

Kenji Siratori [ @xenopoem ]and I originally planned to gather material for a book during this residency, but one morning I woke up and could suddenly see the installation already forming. Now it’s alive.

You can enter it again from the 25th–28th.
