Day 9.1; I Don't Know

Whumpober; "You're a liar." AI-lesstober; interrogation Short and a good scene for another story I need to get to writing.

Whumpee didn't understand why they were being interrogated or why this Person questioned them about a serial killer when they were not even part of the city police. The Whumpee's first thought is this is the killer. "Who's killing all these people?!" The Person asks. "I don't know." "Whose there next target?!" "I said I don't know!" "You're a liar. You do know who's killing innocent people!" After being slapped in the face, Whumpee fears whoever this is will torture them until they give a name. The problem is Whumpee doesn't know anyone who they met a while ago and haven't seen since. Nor do they want to cause someone to be a target just to be freed. "Enough, Person A, it's obvious they don't know the killer. Let them go." Annoyed, Person A agrees. They could use Whumpee as bait, but they'd rather not risk another person being killed. Whumpee is freed, hoping to never see these people or the killer again.
