MAGILLA GORILLA, slightly childish but bound to make the point clear at any rate: An offshoot, you might say, Peter, of that time I was caught up among the surfing crowds at Gremmie Gulch ... and to think it all came about trying to retrieve a surfboard as fell off the roof of a "woodie" which passed by Peebles' Pet Shop, even if it meant having to break the display window in front to play catchup! PETER POTAMUS, after chuckling at the thought: Now I assume this would have been, say-- MAGILLA GORILLA, picking up things: About a couple days afterwards, Peter. The Gremmie Gulch Surf Store invited me to try my hand at diving as much as surfing, and even if it was more or less snorkelling there, Peter, it turned out interesting! [pause] In your own case, Peter, how did YOU get interested in diving? PETER POTAMUS: Magilla, hippopotami are quite the born swimmers and divers, believe you me ... and credit the inspiration of my own late father, Perry Potamus, for getting me hooked onto diving, especially in being able to join him via the Magic Balloon on a number of diving journeys into the uncharted reaches of Polynesia. And when you're essentially naked alongside naked and unashamed natives who can't help but respect their nakedness such as makes them especially close acquaintenances with dolphins, you can't help but sense a warmth and satisfaction of the highest order underwater! [short breather] How about we pull off some breathhold diving in the practice lagoon in a little bit?
