Sometimes I think interfans have a very distorted view of how much any given Thai BL production house cares about our opinions. I'm not saying that they don't want our money, but we are simply not the intended audience. We are not the center of their fandom universe, as much as some of us seem to think we are. Our money isn't worth more than the money Thai fans are spending. We aren't a "better" audience because of how we experience queerness or because of how queerness sits in our culture.
Any time an interfan says "Well if they keep doing this, they're going to lose a lot of international fans." Okay? I don't think they care. Even with or without our dollars I don't think they care.
