Dark Green Paint
Muted green painted wall goes well with wood floor & dark walnut wood finishes
The latest design trend is painting half a wall (framed art, included). Designers say it adds color, uses less paint, less effort, and adds architectural interest. Love it!

Get Ready to Feel the Blues… in the Best Way Possible!
Okay, so I just saw what Dulux is planning for next year and had to share. They just dropped their Dulux Colour of the Year 2026, and the whole vibe is called "The Rhythm of Blues." Honestly, I'm into it. It's all about finding your own pace and making your home a place where you can just... be.
They're not giving us just one colour, but a whole family of amazing shades of blue.
First up, there's Free Groove. Think of that awesome, freeing feeling when you're driving with the windows down, music blasting. That's this colour. It’s a really confident, vibrant indigo that would look incredible on a wall you want to make a statement with. Totally getting creative vibes from this one.
Then, for when you need to chill out, there's Slow Swing. This one is so calming. It’s a softer, almost hazy blue-grey, like the sky on a quiet, lazy morning. I can already picture it in a bedroom or a cosy reading corner. It just feels like a deep breath. A perfect escape from the heat and hustle.
And my personal favourite? Mellow Flow. Oh my gosh. It’s this deep, comforting, soulful blue that feels like a warm hug. It's moody in the best way possible. I’d use this to make a living room feel super cosy for movie nights. So grown-up and chic.
The coolest part is how you can play around with them. You can go all-in on one or mix them up to match whatever rhythm you're on.
I don't know about you, but these shades of blue are making me want to pick up a paintbrush right now. Check out the whole Dulux Colour of the Year 2026 story and see what you think.
Which one is your favourite? Let me know in the comments!
