do you ever do that thing where you get lost in a loophole of saying in your head "okay stop talking to yourself" and then realizing that you're still talking in your head to say that and then you realize that you just thought that verbally in your head too and then you just keep going?

Giving Our Critical Voice Room to Speak
The way to deal with the critical voice is by practicing meditation, and by giving it room to speak. In this way we start to notice it popping up in our everyday lives and we begin to feel more empowered about choosing whether or not to believe it - and whether or not we should act upon its distorted view of reality, or the one we see in front of us. This process takes patience (the voice has been with us forever and it’s not going to disappear overnight), and it also takes compassion. Turning self-judgment into self-compassion goes hand in hand with turning outward looking judgments into compassion for others.

I learned to use my inner language mindfully and to speak to myself with love and compassion. It’s possible and it’s deeply rewarding.
The first step is to become aware of the negativity of your internal voice.
Any mindfulness practice can help you become more aware of the negative self-talk in your head. You can try guided meditations, deep breathing exercises, or mindful walking, or simply spend time tuning into your senses. When you become conscious of the present moment, it’s easier to recognize what’s going on internally.
The second step is to listen a little more deeply.
Take some time to dig beneath the surface of your negative self-talk. Peel back the layers to find the feelings and fears so you can offer compassion to these fragile parts of yourself.
The third step is to realize that the inner negative voice really isn’t helpful and to actively disrupt it.
You can disrupt your negative voice with a mantra or even by reciting a poem, but bringing the body into the practice helps establish new patterns more quickly.
The important thing is that when the negative voice comes up, you do/say something else instead of getting caught up in it.
The voices in my head are confusing!!!
I don’t mean like, “hee hee, im insane cause theres a voice in my head”
I mean like that inner voice we all have when we gather our thoughts and shit.
Like sometimes my inner monologue is my voice, but an English accent
Then maybe the next day, it’ll be Hispanic
Sometimes its Swedish
I have gotten the Australian voice popping in at one point
I just wanna know why? why does my inner voice do this?
forgot to mention but probably like since I woke up my thoughts have a Texan drawl. i have to force the Texan away and it'll randomly bleed in and if I don't repeat my thoughts in a drawl-less tone then I speak with a Texan drawl so yeah. just my thoughts for some reason.
My philosophy teacher wrote her email in all caps and it’s really uncomfortable to read it because my reading voice is screaming and I can’t make it stop
