One special #ThrowBack to pay tribute to a dream that started 13 years ago and came true in three different occasions. Reminders (On Boarding, Disney Look)
On the 16th of April Disney sent a email through reminding us to take a look through the Disney look guidelines and make sure that we would be able to meet them before we arrive in Florida. The only things I need to change is possibly to take out my tragus piercing, they say your allowed one set of earrings and these are the standard bottom of your ear lobe. As I don't really wear my normal earrings on a day to day basis, i'm unsure whether ill be allowed to keep my tragus in or not but i guess we'll see.
I also have a small tattoo on my wrist which i will need to cover. I've been looking around to see what the best make up would be to cover it and i'm struggling a little bit with that one! not long left though so i'm going to have to order something!
Finally my hair!! I had my ends dyed blonde and it just will not go away. I really don't want to put a dark dark dye on my head with going to live somewhere so sunny, so i'm just going to dye it again the night before I go and hopefully it will look more natural!

This was nice to get just to keep the excitement up a bit and keep us reminded that there is still lots of little bits to get done.
The paper work for the hire documentations wasn't bad. It took some time to read through but then you only need to sign and date them. whether this was in English or US format I wasn't sure!
Although i've had some difficulty logging onto the on-boarding site lately so i'm hoping to get that sorted soon!
Proof of Finance Forms
On the 1st of April, I received a email from Louise at Yummy Jobs. This said that we would need to provide financial proof forms. These were going to be used in help with processing our DS-2019 visa petition for the program.
This is the first time its felt more real for me as things were starting to happen in preparation for actually getting to Florida!
These forms could be filled out by yourself or by a sponsor, they were to prove that the fees for Central Michigan University could be paid for. These amounted to $2244 for the 6 month placement . I had help from my nanna who thankfully gave me money towards the fees as i wouldn't of been able to do this myself! So she filled out one form for her amount and then I produced another form for myself to pay the remaining. I included a bank statement from my nanna showing the amount she was agreeing to was in her bank and I included another from my savings account to show I could also pay my part.
I then scanned these through to Yummy Jobs for them to check they were all correct and once I received a email back saying they were fine, I sent them back off to the address Yummy Jobs provide you with in the instructions.
It was days later when I was re-reading through emails that I realised I was meant to send off the photo page of my passport along with these forms which I had completely missed! I emailed Louise at Yummy Jobs straight away and luckily she'd been able to take one off the DOC website. So it all worked out and my forms could be processed.
The DOC site is our Disney Document site. This is used for when we upload things like our passport images, flight details, emergency contacts, visa interview date and so on.

I havent posted on this for a while so going to spend the next few hours hours getting it up to date with where im at now!
16 days!
61 more days til departure
Only 61 more days until I leave for Disney! I am getting so excited as the days keep getting closer and closer. There is so much to do before then. But all I can do is wait until I hear more from Disney and CMU about the next steps in the process for pre-arrival procedures. Hopefully that will be soon! After that, I will have to start packing, however what do I all pack? Decisions, decisions. I still have time to figure it out. Come on July!
