Deviantart users. Anybody know who this  cowardly clown is? I was just browsing through my messages and came across this. Username goes by nicklab8. I tried replying to him/her, as shown there, and he/she seems to have blocked me for some unknown reason. If anybody knows who this is, has the same type of behaviour been experienced? What is his/her purpose?

Long post. Talking about cyberbullying drama that’s completely unrelated to myself... Some people are horrible human beings and extremely disgusting.

Just because you’re communicating to strangers through text post/comment/chat and cannot see their facial expressions, body languages, emotions, reactions and real persons doesn’t mean that they aren’t real. They are real flesh, FFS. They have feelings. They can be hurt by words and actions. They are real people, not pixels on the screen.

Some people unleash their evil side upon others on the internet because there’s no immediate consequence. That is beyond rude and beyond mean. This is making me furious. Why would they feel the need to send death threats (or death wishes) to someone on the internet? What purpose does that serve? What benefits can they get from that?

Wouldn’t you feel even a little bit guilty if some harm actually happens to the person? Hell, I know I hate myself and bash myself a lot if I realize my words hurt someone’s feeling. How could those bullies sleep well at night when they deliberately hurt other people’s feelings?

The internet provides a certain level of anonymity, and thus some people act out their douchebaggery on purpose. Some just don’t try to refrain any of their evil thoughts and let their mouth run, disregarding the opposing party’s feelings. Right, some might feel they can get away with it and will not feel guilty just because they cannot see the other party cry or become upset. Also, they won’t get punched in the nose because no one can reach through the computer screen through the internet.

I don’t get it. There’s no point in hurting others. I can’t understand why some people would choose to be mean to someone they hardly even know. (And I meant “mean” like real mean, not just being cold or neglective or being unfriendly, but mean like telling a person they should die or urging a person to commit suicide, or sending hate messages or publicly bash them, shame them, insult them, throwing a flame war against them.)

Why is there any need to be mean in the first place? Why do they feel the urge to be a horrible human being just because they feel safe and protected from any consequence or punishment? Why can’t they treat others with respect and decency?

Well lately on DA I been getting death threats and getting called autistic on DA just because gets this just because I said I didn't like rainbow dash and that i am an autistic faggot for liking pinkie wow two slurs in one. I freakin hate deviantart man that place is toxic it used to be a nice place but now it's overrun with toxic people attacking others for their opinions. I don't know what to do. At least here on tumblr people keep to themselves.

Sounds to me that they have one too many problems of their own and have taken to internet bullying too push their stress into others. Don’t take that shit seriously because they are the one with the problems not you.

As for DA being toxic I agree but would add that most of the internet is toxic if you’re in the wrong places. Even on tumblr I’ve seen some toxic people.

Back when Steven Universe was still new I found myself in an argument about the Steven, the original post said something along the lines of “if you don’t like steven because he’s to cheery then you’re retarded”, natually I found that to be in bad taste and said so, somewhere along the line this person want on my blog saw a NSFW pony pic and turned the arguement into “you’re wrong because you’re a fedora wearing neckbread pervert”. This had nothing to do with the original argument but thats what it became.

My point is that the world has a lot of idiots and the internet is the perfect outlet for their frustrations. Best not too give them the time of day.

What happened with that laura can fly girl back in February?

Oh gosh… Where do I start.I was subscribed to her on Youtube. I saw that she did a video on how to add permanent extensions to your dreadlocks. Exactly what I was looking for. She didn’t tell us how many grams of hair she was using for her dreads. So I asked her on Tumblr. I waited a couple of days and I didn’t get a response. So I asked again. No response. And ask again, still no response. So I sent her a message asking her if I said anything wrong, because she didn’t reply. And to that she did reply. She has a reaaally short temper. I also saw that on previous posts. So this girl got mad right away, which caused me to be mad. She claimed that she had thousands of messages to answer so she couldn’t reply 2 simple words to me. Weird because in a Youtube video she said that she was happy if she got “an inbox message”. So clearly she wasn’t that busy… She just skipped the question because she likes to give unlicensed advice to people who are in trouble. Which is dangerous. Then she made a very degrading post and put that on her Tumblr. Ofcourse her followers loved it because they think that she is right… And because of the way she made the post.Her Tumblr is Lauraacanfly. Go message her if u want… This girl is cray cray.
