I feel like villain is very jealous of Morgan and Flynn’s relationship, but I can’t tell if he’s jealous of Morgan or of Flynn?
Yes I agree!!! And I also don’t know? Villain is very like secretive like his father, but his emotions always get the better of him (cause he’s a little emo hehe) but I think he’s either jealous of the relationship —
as a whole, like having someone as close to him as Flynn and Morgan are;
Romantically, like jealous he doesn’t have a significant other
And jealous of Flynn for having someone like Morgan;
And jealous of Morgan for “stealing” Flynn away from him, who was closer with him before, it was always Flynn and Villain, like they were each other’s confidant before Morgan comes along and fucks it up and suddenly Flynn defends her?!
It’s like if you’ve ever been co-dependent on someone and they get a boyfriend/girlfriend and you feel that emptiness because they are still your close person but they have a new person to be theirs and it isn’t you…
That applies platonically, romantically and familial-ly if that makes sense?? It’s probably a mix of all four but yeah… poor Villain, he’s just a little… lost right now, and hopefully it all comes clear why soon (actually have a plot for this fic in my head, just don’t know when we get into the thick of it)
