Is it the weekend yet?

#long tags #longing for a break #interviews are exhausting #so are career fairs #and tutoring sessions #and driving long distances #driven over 450 miles in the last week #not because I needed to be 450 miles away #but because I made the same round trip 3 times #and some other errands #and I'm about to drive it again tomorrow #but the career fair was actually productive and today's interview went really well #I turned down the job because it was minimum wage and I have tons of experience in this area #but they liked me so much that they asked me to interview for a different position that pays almost double the rate and has the potential to #become a full time position #so the person who interviewed me is going to talk to other people who need to be in on my next interview #and then get back to me #and in the meantime I have another interview tomorrow #with a different company #I'm much more excited about my interview tomorrow #it's something that seems challenging yet fascinating and does NOT involve supervising hoards of munchkins #because I'm kind of tired of munchkins #they're pretty exhausting #not that I dislike munchkins by any means #but when they get together they can be.... um.... they can instigate trouble that they might not get into alone #okay #I'm going to sleep now #because I have to be out the door around 8 to make my way through rush hour traffic #it's normally a 1 hour 20 minute drive #but I need to give myself at least 2 hours to account for traffic and finding the actual place

Adulthood is so hard. Take it back, I don’t want it.
