its nice, the airs rly fresh (compared to downtown santa cruz, and anywhere in la county lol), theres wildlife that just kind of hang around - not even just in the forest sometimes they like to wander around the classrooms/student housing. mostly squirrels and deer, turkeys if you know where to look (sometimes in the parking lots. they like to chase cars), and banana slugs (our schools mascot..)
but its really easy to get lost, (a lot of walking paths are thru the woods), when it rains heavily everythings muddy, i saw a spider in my apt that was as big as like. if you make a circle with your thumb and your index finger. and there are SO MANY HILLS
