Despite what memory may share, Bennett has seen Felicity Montgomery a few passing times before their encounter at St. Mungos as she became his healer. Being the man Bennett is and how he handles situations, his visits to the hospital since their graduation have been frequent, and the first being some weeks after Lily’s recovery and his name as something of infamy were only beginning. At this time, however, he was still grieving for her and his first kill. He was still grounding away at his belief in miracles, that she would still be alive, though such a miracle wasn’t possible any longer and the knight he thought he could became changed definitions, needing to be bloody, needing to be the hero in new ways, and this cycle began with killing her, the fading of both of the identities they once knew. However, as this was so early after their graduation, only a fraction was still fading, still learning how to be the killer, still seeing those he hurt in people on the streets, finding Lily in any movement, comparing them to her without thought. In the passing glances he saw of Felicity, this was done in his subconscious, the way she walked, the way she turned away from him. She has always been something he slightly feared, a person he couldn’t pinpoint. If he was the man he was before, he’d think it destiny, now each thoughts are ignored, forgotten in time.
