This week’s Females of Metal Friday is the band Introtyl, the all-female death metal band from Mexico.
Originally founded in 2008 under the name Redroot, in 2010 they changed the name of the band to Introtyl due to musical and lineup changes. The current lineup is:
Kary Ramos: Vocals, Rose Contreras: Guitars, Sariux Rivera: Bass, and Annie Ramírez: Drums
Introtyl is a hard-hitting, old-school death metal band. I’m not going to lie; this is another band I had no knowledge of until stumbling upon them while researching other subjects for these posts. One thing I read about them was this:
“Actually, Introtyl is the most recognized female band in Mexico that makes Death metal.
They have experience on stage playing their own music, performed in the most recognized stages all over Mexico, but also playing shows in many cities on tour through Mexico and Canada as Headliners.”
How the hell have I not ever heard of this band!!?? Well, I’m happy that I have now, and if you’ve never heard of them, I hope you are happy to have found them like I have.
