There's no easy way to say it. I had a bit of a breakdown at the end of the year. I’m slowly coming back online, and I want to make sure I’m doing well enough before I take on more responsibilities again. I’m still alive, and I’m sorry I made some of you guys worry. I hope you’re all doing well.

One of my granddads used to be heavily involved in sharing politics and fighting for what he believed in.
For years, he’d email everyone dozens of times a day relaying things happening in politics and other news that he was unhappy about.
He ended up having a heart attack alone at that desk…
The last thing he ever did, as far we know, was send another one of those emails.
Stress killed him long ago and I don't want to go the same way.
Sometimes it's important to take a break for your own well-being.
My granddad didn't, and I’m trying to learn from that.
So if I’m ever gone for long periods of time, please don't worry.

My toxic trait is having way too much confidence in my ability to cut and dye my hair at 3 am.
I wanted to try something new, so I tried to cut lines in my hair inspired by how Vanilla Ice had his hair in the 80s/90s. I made the lines too wide... The line work and shapes ended up looking like bald patches. So then, to fix that, I decided to shave the sides of my head completely. Why did I do that?! I could have just covered it up for a while by combing my hair off to the side until my hair grew back. FML.
In my defense, I’ve been cutting and dying my own hair for 7+. But I guess my skill level is not advanced enough for that yet. And there's no excuse for me resorting to shaving the sides of my head completely. That was pure stupidity on my part.
