Could you please do a head cannon about TFP Starscream being romantically involved with Megatron's little sister, the relationship having to be kept a secret because the Decepticon leader is over protective of her, and he somehow finds out about who his second in commands is involved with and is none to pleased about it.
TFP Starscream
You can't recall a time when Megatron had ever looked so furious. He's usually quite collected, cold and calculating. Not today, however. You think you know what's wrong, but you aren't about to ask - even as his younger sister, incurring his wrath is not something you particularly want. Although, to be fair, you probably already have it.
He's livid, crimson optics positively burning; to his credit, his voice remains calm, even as he comms for Starscream. Demands for him.
Ah, you think you know where this is going.
Why else would he bring you and the commander to the bridge together, unless he had found out?
Exactly. He wouldn't.
You stand, stiff and straight, the tension in the air palpable around you.
You don't think the Nemesis has ever been so quiet.
Behind you, the door opens, and the tell-tale snap of sharp heels tells you that Starscream has arrived. He approaches, confident at first, but upon seeing you where you are, he falters. The way his wings tuck in is an obvious sign. You know him well enough by now.
"Starscream." Your brother sneers, his anger barely contained by a dignified front. Oh yeah, he definitely knows.
You aren't worried, not for you, anyway. Megatron might be a cruel dictator, a ruthless warlord, but he was still your brother. He wouldn't lay a digit upon you.
No, you were worried for Starscream.
It was way more likely that Megatron would take out his anger on his SIC, which is why you'd kept the relationship a secret in the first place. But you must have gotten careless, and someone must have seen.
"Lord Megatron." Your lover did a good job at keeping the fear out of his voice, though it was still plenty evident in his body language; wings tucked tight, gaze low.
You kept quiet while they exchanged formalities, ready to jump in at a moment’s notice, should the need arise.
If this is going where you think it’s going, it could get messy, and fast.
But for now, it would seem, you could remain in place.
If you had to breathe, you were sure it would be difficult, what with the tension on the bridge. Neither mech moved, caught in an aggressive stalemate of unspoken words and hard looks.
At last, Megatron spoke, his voice a rumble of thunder, “A little spider informed me of something rather.. interesting. Care to explain yourselves?”
Ah. At least he wasn’t yelling yet. You were contemplating an excursion to kick Airachnid’s aft after this was all over – if Starscream didn’t beat you to it, that is.
You should have known she would have it out for him.
Seeing your reluctance to answer, you can imagine that Megatron’s patience would start to wear thin; it’s a rarity for him to have any at all, to be honest. You dared not even look at Starscream.
But he chanced a glance your way, and that was enough to set your brother on the war path.
To say he was enraged would be putting it lightly.
He was quick, but you were quicker, and without a word you put yourself between the mechs. He paused. The moments that you glared at each other seemed to stretch on for minutes,
“I can choose for myself, brother.” Your voice was measured, “I won’t let you hurt him.”
One optic ridge raised, Megatron regarded you for a few seconds more, tempering his rage until it simmered quietly again.
He turned, servos clasped behind his back.
“Go now. We shall revisit this discussion at a later time.”
Taking Starscream by the wrist, you pulled him out of the bridge as quickly as you could manage, not letting him go until you were gone. Away down the hallway, you think he was disappointed when you removed your grip, but you allowed yourself to laugh,
“Well, that could have went a whole lot worse.”
Digits slipped through his own, you took his servo in a rare show of intimacy.
“No sense in hiding it now.”
