Random butttttt, is anyone having the problem when trying to update there theme you get the ‘invalid html’ notice? I’ve been trying to update it all night and this is the hell i’ve succumbed to. I’ve tried following youtube videos and nothing seems to be working, but it’s happening with every theme I try and use. Oy! Anyway, any help would be wonderful.
Hello there! I am trying to use your amethyst theme, but after i paste it into the HTML, tumblr gives me "your custom html is invaild". Im not sure if you can do anything about this, or if its just tumblr being awful, but thank you anyways! you have wonderful themes :-)
I haven’t yet heard of this problem, so I had to google it to see what was up! So far there weren’t any straight answers except for things like “try again later”.
Another tip I saw, which I think you should try but it may be hard, is try REPLACING your code with the amethyst code piece by piece. like maybe replace all the Body first, and then the CSS. The CSS is the text that’s within the and tags, and it’s probably mostly vivid orange, red and purple colors. And then the Body is the text that’s within the
and tags, and its colors are mainly blue, white, and green. And THEN if tumblr lets you save that, it sounds dumb but then i would replace the whole thing with the Amethyst code anyway. That way it’s like baby steps to hopefully let tumblr accept it, and in the end you can get the whole code with no bugs. I’m so sorry if this doesnt make sense OTL
But unfortunately other than that I think it’s just tumblr being awful, I’m so sorry! If anyone else has this problem, please let me know!

Invalid HTML?
Tried to edit my HTML and it keeps coming up with 'your HTML appears to be invalid' when it's not! Anyone else have this problem?? Now i'm stuck with a rubbish template one because it's deleted my previous custom one. URGH
So is anyone else getting the Invalid HTML thing cause I was editing my SCM player when it suddenly said 'invalid html' and i accidentally clicked it and now my player won't appear on my blog and I've been working on trying to fix it for an hour or so and nothing's working and I just want my playlist back ; A ; Tumblr y u do dis to me.
Invalid html...
i swear tumblr has a invalid html glitch or something because it kept saying my theme was invalid but i just ignored it because it worked fine. After a while it wouldn't even let me edit the theme it just gave me 2 options 'use default' theme or 'recover theme' even though there was nothing wrong with my theme. So i went to settings and edited my html from there and got the original narnia theme back with hopefully 'no invalidness' and guess what... STILL INVALID OFGEOFJOEFJBOF please fix this tumblr... anyone else experiencing this..?
Someone else getting the whole "your custom theme html appears to be invalid" thing, actually knows what the hell does it mean? Because it is happening to all of my blogs, and I don't really know what to do.
