I almost forgot how fun it was to perform live music! From May 22nd: The Invicta Vox Songwriter Showcase at the Velour Live Music Gallery was such a privilege to be a participant of.
 Thank you my darling wife, for encouraging me to join their songwriter’s workshop. You are my light and my muse, you inspire me to share my experience and be my most genuine self. Thank you for your love and unending encouragement.

Reposted from @invictavox There is a difference between breathing normally and breathing to sing. 🎤 A normal breath usually feels higher in the chest, short, and shallow, almost like a pant. While a “singer’s breath” needs to be low and silent, or down and out; like how a yoga instructor would have you breathe. This way you have enough air as you sing. To practice the singer’s breath, take a nice deep nose breath. 👃When you do this you can feel your rib cage expand.
