hey hey so I’ve been following the longest distance and I got caught up tonight and anyway I was so fucking hype for this and it’s such a great fic and I’m very happy and also kinda in awe of the time you must be taking to write something this huge. anyway it’s great and you’re great and have a nice night <3

Per Vulkk/recent devs interview, apparently Khem *is* coming back (presumably if you sided with him against Zash, at least).

Ohhh I hope so :D makes sense that maybe he wouldn’t for those players who picked Zash.

When you do a companion item preview for Khem, it comes up with the other Dashade D: so that’s also what got me wondering if they were planning to remove him for good. But it’s probably just a bug, the preview feature is pretty buggy right now

Hey @inyri I saw your anon post earlier and I apologise if this isn’t appreciated, but I’ve had the same problem in other Bioware franchises with certain male characters/love interests coming across rather explicitly and uncomfortably strong to my character and it sort of soured my attempts to enjoy the character or any sort of friendship or pleasant working relationship my character might have forged with them (Bioware really are not great at balancing that line in the dialogue sometimes, are they?) and both of my Outlanders (a Pub and an Imp run) are lesbians so I thought I’d share the thing I’ve been using to justify Arcann’s letters to them at least from a narrative perspective? If it doesn’t work for you/Nine, all good, but I know it helped me to deal with any sort of discomfort they had with the situation

(I mean, Kallathe still doesn’t like him at all either, but it gives it all a different angle that helps make it less like creepy unwanted romantic overtures and more like just socially awkward never-actually-talked-to-another-person-before uselessness on his part)

(And I mean this might be helpful for anyone finding the tone of the letters uncomfortable? It didn’t occur to me that other people might find it useful, so I hope it’s not like... presumptuous) 

The easiest platonic explanation for the letters that still accounts for the intensity with which he writes them is that he’s treating the you/the player as he would treat Thexan. Now, that’s a whole other discussion about whether or not it’s healthy for him to be projecting that sort of emotional connection onto you, but it removes the romantic read and gives you a bit more breathing room. Particularly the line about offering you his hand?

That was a particularly symbolic gesture that was repeated in the trailer multiple times for the brothers. 

So like... it’s still unnecessarily dramatic and he’s still projecting a lot, but you can sort of use that filter to step away from any sort of romantic creepiness? I know there’s nothing worse than feeling miserable about a game because you feel like you just can’t escape from a character (and lord only knows there are a couple of romances in vanilla swtor that fall into that category) and I suppose this isn’t so much for Nine herself as it might be for you? Cause Nine doesn’t have the meta knowledge of the trailers, but if it helps you to feel less discomfort or stress, huzzah? 

And like I said, if it’s not appreciated or appropriate, please ignore, but I know how frustrating it can be trying to enjoy a game you otherwise love and feeling hemmed in by a character (I’ve had certain unnamed romance options make me cry with their persistence/writing). If this gives you a filter to be able to block him out... victory?

OC Fight Week Day One: Nine and Era (Nine #2 I suppose)

I’m..very self-conscious in posting this (I shouldn’t be because it’s one of the more ambitious things pose-wise I’ve drawn and it turned out half decent.) Anyways--

Thank you @inyri for letting me borrow Nine for fight week and dealing with me going “screw it I’m gonna draw something” yesterday.  This was fun to do, hope I did your lovely Nine at least a little bit of justice.

lots of warrior pose/chair pose will help strengthen up your upper legs- the more muscle tone you build, the less work the knee has to do (to a degree). there are some yoga poses that may not work for you, and that's ok- or you can adapt them with a foam block, etc.

Yeah I tried a few of those tonight. So far my knee seems fine with most of them... it’s something about the plank that sets it off. I think because of the downward/outward direction of the weight being applied to it. But I’m curious to see how it’ll improve or change if I work on the nearby muscles for a while.

For all the pitfalls, it’s great living in the age where I can look all this stuff up from my couch. The more exercises I can do at home, the better!
