Wait a minute. Now I'm not so sure if Iodor is a good one...
Gestella: "Do you also try to make the world a better place?"
Iodor: "Well, you could say. That's the responsibility of powerful people, and the reason the world gave power to us awakened ones"
Gestella: 🕴️
This could seem like "oh, he's a good guy wanting to make the world better" but in context it makes me doubtful about the real meaning behind.
Gestella and Iodor's conversation goes all about how the top 10s are always seeking more, and now that they learned/confirmed they can steal each other's power to use it as an stepping stone to be even stronger, things got complicated. Gestella says "I suppose you think the same, what do you plan to do when you get stronger?" (key words you think the same), and then comes the question about the world.
I thought Gestella got "surprised" because she didn't expect an answer with a good intention behind. But looking at her conversation with Kayden, I guess she didn't say anything else because it was a confirmation of Iodor being a shitty person.
On Gestella and Kayden's conversation (the part that matters for this), she tells him she didn't expect someone as aggressive (battle hungry) as him would like a peaceful life, and he answers if she thought he would be like the rest (powerful people) showing off about making the world better, and then it comes:
Kayden: "I don't like awakened ones that don't treat common people like humans with the excuse of a better world, and think humans should be eliminated"
Gestella: *remembers Iodor answer*"... me neither."
So... I guess the "making the world better" part is more about taking weaker people to the other life, and less about real good intentions...
