Personal Update!

Hey everyone, I just wanted to share a quick personal health update. I had a skin biopsy taken from my nose last week and received the results that it's positive for Basal-cell carcinoma. I'm not really a person who spends a ton of time in the sun in general or without UV protection, so this was very unexpected and scary news for me.

I have a really great support system who was there for me the day I received the news, and I have a surgery scheduled next week (Mohs procedure) to remove any lingering cancer cells. BCC is slow-growing and very treatable, and the procedure is minimally invasive and done with local anesthesia, so I should be fine. But it's a little scary and has added some stress to my life, so there may be a few more no-updated days ahead than usual. I appreciate your patience.

Also, please let this serve as a reminder to get regular dermatologist check-ups. I'm pretty young and don't get sunburns and this still happened. Good thing I went!

Personal Update – Good News :)

Hey everyone! I'm going to keep the details vague, but I'm thrilled to share with you all that my partner and I are now engaged! We're looking at September 2027 for our wedding. I've been on cloud nine this whole week :)

Hi everyone, quick personal update. (tw: cancer, death)

My aunt passed yesterday; she had aggressive gallbladder and bile duct cancer and had been fighting it successfully for a few years, but her health worsened recently and she decided to stop her treatment, passing quickly after. My family and I were able to spend some good days with her before she had a sudden and steep decline, before finally passing.

My family and I are doing okay, we knew this day was coming, but there won't be a new art update today. There will be updates next week; thanks for your patience.

Quick update! 6/28/25

I wanted to thank everyone again for all the kindness that was shown to me with my aunt’s recent passing. I read all the messages and comments and really appreciated them all ❤️

My aunt’s service was last week, and it was a really nice, intimate event with my family. We’re stilling sorting out some affairs (she was living in a cancer treatment facility in our state, and we need to go and move her furniture and things out), but the biggest stresses of that are behind us and my family and I are doing okay.

Immediately following the funeral I got what I think was the flu (tested negative for Covid), which chills/fever, body and head aches, sore throat, nausea, fatigue, etc. So I spent a few days sick, but I’m now recovered from that.

And currently I’m on a 7-hour drive with my partner for a vacation with their family! I’ll be away this week, so no new updates and less general responses, but there will be reblogs as usual. I’ll get back to more regular updates when I return.

TL/DR: I’m away this week on vacation so no new art, but I’ll be back soon with more updates. See you then!

Quick Update!

Hi everyone, I wanted to thank you all again for your patience as I navigate a busy month of fall plans, travel, and larger IPP projects that take more time to work on.

I'm going to traveling for a few days on a small vacation. I'll be away until next Tuesday on my annual October trip to Orlando (if anyone else is going to Halloween Horror Nights this weekend, maybe I'll see you there!). I'm taking my laptop on this trip, so I likely won't be replying to asks and there will just be scheduled daily reblogs of older updates.

I'm just making the last few adjustments to my Halloween update, so after that I'll be able to resume work on regular updates! Thanks again and see you next week :)

Quick Personal Update!

Hi everyone, no IPP art update today, just a quick personal update for you all, nothing too big or important. IPP updates have slowed a bit recently, which has just been due to a lot of things going on in my personal life that has left me without much free time.

Currently, I'm working on a bit of a bigger project now in an effort to get it done ahead of time. Something I've tried to do but usually run out of time for... I'm being vague, but IYKYK ;)

Once I finish that, I should be able to resume more regular updates. Thanks for your patience, as always!

Oh, lastly, I've only been doing one reblog instead of two for most days. I know in the past people have missed the reblogs when I stopped them completely while I'm on vacation, but how does the one reblog feel? Do you prefer two, one, or none?

Quick life update!

I hope everyone is doing as well as they can be. I just wanted to give a quick life update. My partner and I are hosting our first Thanksgiving, (16 people!) so we've been very busy planning, cleaning, and preparing our house for company and the family that will be staying with us this week.

No new art updates this week while I'm preparing for Thanksgiving and hosting. I'll try to have something new soon afterwards.
