you all know that i love a great burger from time to time. well, i’ve found another! @walkons is new to birmingham and i’m glad they’re here. we went earlier this week for lunch. it’s been a while since i’ve been to that part of 280 so i was happy to see how much the area had changed. we were greeted by 3 hostesses when we arrived and i immediately thought “i think i’m going to like this place.” it’s a sports bar so tvs are beyond plentiful! it’s very spacious with multiple seating areas. the noise was average, no complaints there. we went to our table was greeted almost immediately by our server. he was cool, knowledgeable, and provided suggestions. i couldn’t decide between shrimp & grits, two pasta dishes, or the surf & turf. the surf & turf won. i requested medium but it was cooked closer to well. i didn’t make an issue of it though because it was very tender. it was LOADED with buttery shrimp and spicy jalapeños. oh wait, let me back up.
