A question for Wildsong and/or Tornface <3 What’s your favorite part of being in StarClan? Would you say you’re at peace?

“Oh,” the dark tom hummed, “that’s a hard question.” He appeared distracted as he spoke, gaze drawn beneath his paws. All you could see is the glittering grass which paved StarClan’s hunting grounds, but it seemed that the young warrior witnessed something more.

“There are a lot of things I love about being here,” he chirped ashe turned a smile upon you. “I get to watch as many birds as I want as much as I want, there are some I didn’t even see when I was alive! And the clan stuff isn’t so tense, I’ve been able to make new friends - like Stoatfur! He was MountainClan,” he spoke pleasantly.

“Apparently we were alive at the same time, but I don’t really remember him from then. I also have a huge family! My Mum said she listened to all of my prayers, and Orchid is so sweet, and- oh?” His head swiveled as he gazed over her shoulder. You could not see at what.

“I’ve got to go, that’s my tabby calling!” He hopped to his paws, turning away from the conversation, “visit again sometime!”

“There isn’t much I enjoy,” the tom answered with a frown, his shoulders squared, “being dead and all.” He appeared leaps and bounds better than he had upon his deathbed, but his mood had not improved in the same way.

“I feel strong again,” he continued, and something familiar - yet unsettling - glinted in his gaze. Sure enough, the bulk that had withered away as his ailment progressed was now stacked thick across his form.

“My brother has begun to make ammends. I never thought I’d see the day. Well,” he chuckled, the sound a little jaded, “I suppose I didn’t? I’ve also been able to be a brother to Hootkit, and I’ve been watching Mothkit like I promised. They play together.” The aged tom could not hide the smile which tugged at his dark lips.

“So I guess it isn’t all bad, but no. I am not at peace. I will never know peace so long as my clan suffers.”

Inkpool ✨, ☀️, or ☘️? Whatever you prefer!!

✨ initial thoughts / opinions

I just want Inkpool to be happy and make some friends. The poor girl has gone through so much already and she deserves the best! I think with some consistency and someone she can really lean on, Inkpool can really grow into herself and gain some confidence. On the flip side, I can also see her totally falling apart if too many bad things happen all at once. So uh. Good luck Inkpool! 

☀️ ideal friendships

I’d love to see her become friends with a lot of the daylight warriors, especially considering her past experiences with/opinions on kittypets. Someone mentioned a while back that they hc the daylight warriors going to and from “work” together and chatting and that’s just so sweet to imagine her with a group of friends like that... I want her and her daylight warrior pals to be happy. 

Also I think Wildsong could be a good match for her friendship-wise. They both got some anxiety to work through and it’d be nice to see them overcome that together. <3 

☘️ relationship dynamics with the most potential

Inkpool has no clue who Martenpaw is yet but I think a lot is gonna happen between them soon. Probably not good things. But certainly interesting things!
