mablesong and inkpool or marmlotus
inkpool,
if you could go back in time and pick your own warrior name, what would it be? or would it be the same?
Inkpool’s reply is short, clipped. “Doesn’t matter,” the scarred molly states. As if reciting a line from the warrior code, she adds bluntly, “going backwards in time is impossible.”
Reclusive as she is, it’s the most elaborate answer you’ll get out of her. And yet, somehow, it’s hardly an answer at all.

Inkpool 🍁 or 🌲? 👀
🌲 who I ship them with
Haven't gotten the pine tree emoji yet so I'm going with this one!
I think Inkpool would be fantastic with Cherrystem, honestly. While Inkpool is all hard edges and no-nonsense, Cherrystem is very much not. They say opposites attract, and so I think these two would be a really good match. Ink can probably give Cherry a much-needed confidence boost, and Cherry can teach Ink that it's okay to be vulnerable sometimes. They'd go through character development at the speed of light if they were together. They'd be unstoppable.
Perhaps Inkpool ✨?
✨ initial thoughts / opinions
the first time i saw inkpool, she was in the middle of, uh...getting murdered. sort of. she was immediately a super intriguing character, especially with her overt self doubt and self loathing. she was ready to die by martenstorm's paws, to an extent, and watching her go through the dramatic ups and downs of that moment was quite the introduction to her!
beyond that, my initials thoughts on inkpool basically boiled down to "oooh, mysterious lady, i want to know her so badly." i got a bit more of a taste of her when she and roseface fought at little pond, and i still love the way inkpool reacted there. she was again ready to sacrifice herself for her clan, perhaps as a way to pay for her "crimes..." overall, i was and still am super intrigued by her as a character! i would kill to be able to see a bit deeper into her thought process and the sort of struggles she endures, because so much of her conflict seems to come from an internal source / herself.
