Iris West Headcanon

When Barry and Iris were younger Iris was always the taller one out of the two and constantly used that to her advantage.

If Barry wanted something he would have to jump up and down to get it constantly and she revelled in it.

However when he grew taller the tables turned.

He didn't constantly annoy her. Only the few times where he felt snarky and those where few. So Iris thanked her lucky stars.

Big mistake.

One day, Barry struck back at full force.

He gathered up all of Iris's snacks and belongings that she used the most often and put them on the highest counter to make sure she couldn't reach.

And he did this before his coma. So for 9 months Iris couldn't reach her stuff and her dad was no help whatsoever.

So when Barry woke up instead of running up and hugging him she ran and punched him. Hard.

After that Barry never tried to put any of Iris's belongings too high for her to reach. Because she is scary when she's mad.

Iris West Headcanon

The first time her and Ray met he thought she was accidentally shrunken by someone who used his tech and offered to get her help from the waverider.

Not even Wally was fast enough to stop her from slapping Ray across the face. Barry didn't even try to help because he knows how touchy Iris can get about her height. The idiot speaks from experience.

Later on when he discovered the reason why she was so touchy about her height was because it made people underestimate her and call her a little girl and brings back the time she tried becoming a cop and her dad didn't believe in her.

After that he was much more conscious about what he said and when he saw a pair of really nice heals from his time travelling adventures with the crew he got her a pair.

She has forgiven him only if he continues to get her really cute heals.
