Thank goodness I wrote Transference before I evolved to my final form, anon. Here's a summary of 2020/2021 for you:
Buried my grandmother (no one could say goodbye to her because of the restrictions)
Lost my apartment due to being lied to by my employer about whether I'd be laid off (along with a thousand others in my office)
Lost my partner's car thanks to the lie above. We haven't been able to replace it thanks to the silicon chip shortage.
Lost my writing business due to loss of shelter.
Was displaced and living out of a couple storage bins for over 5 months; the only family member with room to shelter us was my sister who lived deep in T**mp country. I had to move across country, move back at the barking of my employer, and lost over $5k in the process.
Got to vote as a homeless gal; it's as much fun as you'd expect.
Narrowly avoided living in a hotel which I'm 90% sure had been cursed by someone. The hotel chain then fraudulently charged me over $1.3k. Good thing I was mean as hell and won.
Ended up living in a hotel for a month, during which time I was infested with bedbugs and developed PTSD. Face was fucked up for weeks. The hotel staff made the mistake of trying to tell me I had to stay in that room and I almost dove over the counter.
Lack of valid address forced me to break laws in three states. When I tried to update my ID, the DMV rejected my marriage license (which had been acceptable for years) and refused to issue a driver's license. That set me back months. I had to pay my home state to issue a new marriage license and pay double what I paid to get married in the first place.
Moved to an apartment that costs almost double my last place and it doesn't hold the keepsakes I was able to put into storage with the last bit of savings I had.
Came out as bi to my parents. My dad was neutral. My mother started treating me like a homewrecker. Naturally, we're not talking now. I'm about 90% sure she and my stepdad are in the Q cult seeing as they both wanted T to stay in power over a month after he lost. I cut contact and armed up.
Returned to Appalachian folk magick practices thanks to the fanatics in my area actively threatening people + the frequent shut-outs from basic medical services (even with insurance). That's paid off wonderfully and my late grandma would be proud.
Acquired/returned to a LOT of hobbies to distract myself (that's probably a whole other list of shit)
Lost a few friends
Lost 40 pounds
Completed ZERO fics, although I did do some writing
Hopefully it's a bit clearer why there weren't any updates and why I wasn't around.

some nights were really fucking hard and iris couldn’t do anything except think about everything she used to have and everything she lost. it was late and she couldn’t sleep and she knew that she wouldn’t be able to until she saw her. she’d stay awake for days unless she cleared her head. and the only way to do that was to see her. iris had things to say and they couldn’t be said over the phone. so, despite the hour, she was knocking on her door and praying she’d answer. standing in front of her, though, iris’ was tongue-tied. her head was as clear as it had been in months just looking at her but, still, nothing came out. she wanted to say that she wouldn’t fuck things up this time and that she wouldn’t let her go but, instead, iris said: “can i come in?”

I’m really curious what their classes and alignments are, could you share some of their backstory/personality/etc?
I’m not the best with alignments unfortunately and I’m pretty new to the party, but I’ll tell you what I know along with recommending looking up Manacles of Darkness on Youtube as the sessions are recorded! Or you can check out this playlist I made with all the episodes. Just note that this session has been going on for a year so these are just the characters that are currently a part of the session.
Firoh- Firoh is a Desh’niri swordsman (I can’t remember his class exactly), Desh’niri I can best describe as middle eastern elves. I don’t know much about Firoh, but from what I remember being told he’s a pyromaniac with a talking sword that he argues with a lot. He’s also scarred from being stuck in a dimension where he died thousands of times. When he goes to sleep he ends up in a dimension where forgotten souls are left, which is pretty crazy. As far as I can tell he’s pretty laid back, but his charisma is abysmal. If I had to compare him character wise, I would say he’s a mix of Inigo and Gaius.
Leiven- Leiven is Desh’niri, but is also an Ethereal that just got his body back after a very long time of regenerating it. He used to wear a gas mask to hide it and often speaks telepathically since he still isn’t use to having his vocal cords back. He’s a very powerful sorcerer who’s excited to learn everything and anything he can about the universe, even if he has to use unethical means to do it. Let’s just say he may or may not have committed some human rights abuses to cure a disease a few hundred years back. Leiven doesn’t really care for the feelings of others unless it benefits himself and isn’t above torture if he can find some sort of new knowledge from it.
Arturio- Arturio is a human noble that was locked up in a tower by his family, expected to take on a “curse” that would greatly improve his magical abilities via killing his father. Not wanting to commit patricide, he left to try and find his own way in the world, but unfortunately has only been met with the death of many of his former party members as the curse had not been properly passed on and thus was causing more harm than good. Despite this he tries to keep positive and is still pretty sheltered about the world around him. He can also speak abyssal, which is the language of the dead.
Myrrh- Myrrh is a half elf and a former tiefling. Her parents were murdered by racist villagers that hated the fact that a human and an elf were together. Just before this she had met a human boy and had fallen in love with him, but he was killed as well by the village for trying to fraternize with her. This left her vulnerable to Asmonus, whom called himself the King of Wrath, and made a deal with her and possessed her via her eye (which is where the scar comes from). After a very long and complicated arc, Myrrh and Asmonus are no longer bonded but Myrrh still feels the urge to bring him back. Myrrh did find love again, via a monk named Noryk, but he died as well and one of her quests in MoD is to bring him back to life. Myrrh is pretty meek compared to her former tiefling self, but she’s slowly been learning to depend on herself rather than others for her happiness (she also recently learned to read!). Also a lot of people want her dead.
Jeeves- Jeeves is also a tiefling, but possessed by a demon named Marv. Jeeves was experimented on as a child, but was able to get away. I don’t know much about him since he is played by our GM, but after being kidnapped and experimented on again by his abuse, Jeeves was able to get his revenge with the help of Leiven. Gonna be honest, listening to that was super cathartic. I don’t really know Jeeves too well as a character.
Rey- I honestly don’t know how to describe Rey. He’s a blood rager and apparently is pretty popular, but his past is a mystery and he’s a pretty sheltered person. Don’t really have a read on him yet.
Dagon- Dagon is actually one of the newer recruits to MoD, he’s a warlock that the team needed to help them cure a magical necrosis that was plaguing them. He’s basically immortal, transferring his consciousness into new bodies he makes for himself. He’s also able to speak abyssal, and has even offered to take Arturio under his wing to help him find a way to properly transfer the curse without killing Arturio’s father. He’s very refined, if a bit set in his old ways.
Mila- The newest addition to MoD, Mila is a half orc-half elf fighter that was raised in the far off country of Fayeer in a clock work shop her family owned. She was pretty isolated by her father, aunt, and uncle as orc-elves are extremely rare and very hated by both sides. Her father, being an orc and a former fighter, taught Mila all she knows about battle and even blessed her with her family’s heirloom Earthbreaker (basically a giant meat tenderizer). She knows not who her mother is and doesn’t care to know as she thinks her mother didn’t love her. Because of this, she considers herself to be ‘whole orc’ as she’s denounced her elf half. Despite her cold demeanor, Mila is actually very in tune with her emotions she just has trouble expressing them through words. She also really likes cute things, her favorites being rabbits.
Sorry that took so long, but these characters have a huge story line and I definitely recommend checking out the videos if you wanna know way more about them.
What do you like about the og Winx the most (mine is everything about Stella in s1-s3)? I think all the winx are pretty, but I really like Stella's outfit in Magic Winx due to her orange outfit and her low pigtails with long ties (she still has bangs and headband 🧡). Did you like anything on my blog because I'm one of the most passionate fans of Winx (s1-s3)? What was your favorite fanart that I've done, because I've done several good ones, and I've done edits too (I wonder which edit you liked).
I liked the fact that each character had a very different personality, and everyone had layers to them. They got into arguments, resolved them, their friendship grew stronger. It felt REAL and not just a polished show of friendship.

I love your art style!!! It's very similar to how mine was a few years back, and I really appreciate how cartoonish it is. I can literally imagine the scene in my head and the art style really gives life to it. My favourite character is also stella :3
I got a dumb idea: a bunch of the winx’s enemies (Diaspro, chimera, Varandra, Mitzi) and a few others forming their own club. The anti-Winx club, if you will
LOL that could be hilarious actually. An anti-winx club sounds very very fun XD however I don't think I can put diaspro in it bc she's currently a mega villain in my au- BUT mitzi sounds like a great addition XDD
