Diary of an I.R.I.S employee

(The following information was obtained after being found in the rubble after ‘The Incident’)

Day 1:

I’ve always been fascinated with idea of obtaining the impossible and since IRIS was at the forefront of researching that very thing, I jumped at the chance to join.

The first thing they tell you is to get used to the idea of not seeing much outside the facility once you entered. Everything they were doing was in complete secrecy so of course you had to sign a contract stating that you wouldn’t divulge anything that you saw here. A very strange man in a mask oversaw me sign it before smiling and welcoming me onto the team. Today was my first ever day so it wasn’t too intense. There were a lot of places that were restricted as I was guided around. My level 2 clearance wouldn’t clear me for the more interesting places, at least for now. My goal is to rise through the ranks and really see what they working on.

They showed me to the dorm that I’d be calling my home during my employment. The room itself isn’t too bad, not greatly big but still bigger than a usual student place and it looked a lot comfier. I guess if I and others are living here and not commenting, they need to keep us happy.

I was told to rest by my guide when I got into my room. The induction would be tomorrow. For now, I unpacked my case and picked up the uniform that had been folded at the end of the bed. On a black shirt was the IRIS symbol emblazoned on the right side of the chest. A pair of black combat style trousers and boots also made up the uniform. Very basic stuff but again, it looked pretty comfortable to wear. I hung up the trousers and shirt and slid the boots under my bed before I sat down to read. I had arrived quite late so dinner was out of the question. Oh well, I’m sure I’ll get a decent breakfast tomorrow. For now, I’ve got a few snacks to tide me over.

Tomorrow begins my life as an IRIS employee and I can’t wait to get started!

Despite the fact that I tried to draw her as an adult, she still looks just like a child)))

It was very unpleasant for me to look at my bug in its first design, since there was nothing behind it, there were no individual features🤕

(I just didn't come up with a trauma for her expressed in appearance XD )
