Hello. Midday here 👋😃

It's a new year, and my life has changed considerably in less than a week. I have more time and things are calming down at home. God willing, I can get over this cough and headache before the month is out.

One thing I really want to do is get back into writing again. I used to love it, but I've drifted away from my passions of late due to… reasons.

And don't worry; the FE3H child unit series is still ongoing. Perfectionist brain has just been beating the bricks off me while working on this current design (did not have this much trouble with the others 😡💀), so I let the voices win and straight up started over. //cry

Sorry I haven't been posting as regularly. I've been getting sick left and right, and it makes drawing and coming up with new ideas exhausting.

Doing my best to recover and get back to making more stuff. This crap's depressing and I need my happy place back.

On a lighter note, almost done with my Goneril kid as well, so stay tuned for that! I really wanna finish the Golden Deer by February, though with the way my health is going, we're working on dial-up speeds right now.

From personal experience, the worst mistake you can make when drawing is second-guessing yourself.

You can and will overcorrect and wonder why it looks so strange.

Also, my hiatus has ended and I've decided to open up my asks again.

However...

For the sake of avoiding burnout, I will be selective on which asks I give answers to.

I have found I get overwhelmed too quickly trying to do them all and it causes my responses to suffer as a result.
