EVERYTHING FEELS SO FUZZY. Colors dance before her eyes as she begins to stir, to the sound of a youthful voice crying out to her. It's a bit muffled and distant, as though something where between them, but it's there. As Mari comes to, and finds herself in the shadow of something big.

The air is pungent with the scent of smoke and burning. Her head throbbed with a dull ache. The rider tries to roll herself onto her back, but finds she is unable to; she's pinned halfway underneath something heavy. There's a rumble from nearby the source of the voice—she feels Ratha's pull on her mind. He's close. Possibly beside the child who was calling her.

" Y - YEAH! I hear you! " She calls weakly, before straining to pull herself out from whatever was pinning her. Despite her efforts, she remains trapped. " I can't—I can't move! Something's got me! "

Jonathan sat to himself alone really as the storm continued to pour throughout all of Old LA focused on an old assignment he never fulfilled for an old client. His eyes looked and gazed through the typed, printed documents as well as photographs of the victim in question. Before he would continue his thoughts further he hears a gentle knock, it took a moment for him to acknowledge the other before responding, “Come in.” He says with a simple blunt invitation lifting his gaze toward the opening door. Could be another he thought as he could not make heads or tails of the silhouette that stood before the opened door.

The summer villa was always something Arthur looked forward to, with the way it allowed him to finally lower the mantle of King for but a week or two.

He was allowed to sleep in for one, and for another bonus--he was allowed to run through the surrounding fields as much and as long as he wished.

They had arrived late last night.

Yet when the hedgehog stepped outside he noticed the air was different. The fields seemed overgrown; worrisome.

' It should be Gawain on watch right now. Maybe he has answers.'

When he finally found him Gawain had no armor on. No weapon at his side. Even his posture was different. It made Arthur pause.

"I never knew you could let go of the armor, Gawain. Feeling bold this morning?"

Opinion on;

Character in general:  team sonic !!! the trio!! the brothers !! the boys !!! gosh they’re all just lovely and play off of one another SO well. they’re best friends and found family all at once and it SHOWS. i’m glad you and i decided to commit to our shared sonic brain-rot when we were both playing frontiers respectively because it’s been SO much fun!! 

How they play them: gonna talk mostly about knuckles and tails here but !!! your knuckles is so fun~ he’s just the perfect balance of fun and Serious Business, as he should be! we don’t get to see him a whole lot on your blog but I genuinely wish we did because he’s a lovely little dude and I want to see more of what makes your knuckles uniquely your own!!

And as for Taaaails~ That’s Sonic’s little brother !! :D he’s mischievous and cunning, but still kind-hearted and fiercely protective of his loved ones! And I love to see the moments when you really dig deep into specific traits of Tails and when those traits come up. IE: his fox-cunning coming out with his inventions and plans, his naivety and childlike wonder when he’s having a good time or just out to have an adventure with his bro, the doubt and insecurity that festers in him when there are big changes in his life like his kitsune heritage or the various events that stem from Forces onwards... I love to see his fierce protectiveness too??? Like, the balance between him being relatively gentle in soul but very much willing to toe the line when he has to because SOMEONE has to, and the thought process he and you have when toying around with all of these little things !! it all comes together so nicely and i love to see it !!!

The Mun:  flout my beloved !!! i love u i love talking w u i think you’re just soooo neat !! :D i love busting into your dms to talk headcanons and music sharing and so on and so forth !! it’s always such a good time !! i’m glad we bumped into each other with our byleths!!
