( hello(: i absolutely love your theme and I was wondering if there was a tutorial you used to produce your own theme? I've been wanting to make my own for a while now, but I have no idea how/where to start. )

Hi! I mostly learned on my own, I started by looking at base themes and fiddling around with them using codeacademy and jquery before I felt confident enough to make my own base themes from scratch and building up from there, figuring out how to move things around or using tutorials from other websites or tumblr blogs on how to add certain effects (bigger link text on hover, glow/shadow behind text, pop up boxes, etc). In order to start to build up from your own base theme, tumblr has a page dedicated to the site’s base blog theme and all the html/scripts/etc that you can add/edit/delete. It’s super helpful to look at that page - it shows you a lot about your blog and themes that we typically don’t know about, or can’t figure out!

I also know there are a lot of tutorials out there that teach you how to make themes, accessorize them, etc! I don’t know any specific ones, but here’s a list of blogs I think - or hope! - will help?

I know that theme-hunter has a very good database and a lot of masterposts on tutorials for pretty much everything coding/scripting related in regards to themes, so going through their blog and the tutorials they’ve reblogged there is a good idea! Making your own theme is mostly trial and error, studying base codes and learning html (and tumblr’s html) and how to add scripts, adding code and hoping it works on the first try and figuring out where the break in the code is if it doesn’t. It’s frustrating but it’s satisfying when the end results all come together!

#ironceo #i hope it's alright i post this publicly? just in case anyone else is wondering the same thing on how to make their own themes ;#it's a lot of work and trial and error #took me like two and a half years to get to my measly theme place right now #but it's a lot of fun and theme making is something i think everyone should try at least once #it's very helpful in learning what to do and how to spice up your theme #and if anything breaks you know how to or where to look for it #either way: i hope this helps!!!!!

About a thousand calls littered Tony's cell but he already heard the news and he was only interested in hearing from one person. Pepper Potts's place had burned down and absolutely no one could tell him what had happened to her in question but they seemed to have tons of questions. They hadn't been a committed or stable relationship for very long but it was what Tony believed that people told each other things like if they were okay or shoved up in a hospital somewhere. Of course, he wasn't always the first person to abide by that rule but that didn't count...at least not today.

He stormed through her office without bothering to check if she was in a meeting or any other engagement. "There you are....I've been looking for you all morning, isn't that funny? It's usually the other way around...even the wondering if you're dead or injured."
