Another team member! She’s the anger and ruthlessness of the group-if Rhea’s the fun dad, then Sarah’s the grumpy teenager. In all fairness, she’s had it pretty rough (especially since she accidentally set her guitar on fire) She enjoys being the center of attention and almost never lets her guard down. Less likely to be physically violent, but will cut you down with her words.
Fun facts: she has a powerful and harsh singing voice, her favorite food is chocolate, and she doesn’t actually know how to read music-she uses recorders to make notes of different melodies. Her pants are stolen from a volunteer firefighter because she tends to catch everything that’s not heat-resistant on fire
Another oc! A member of a group of teenagers that have been mutated by magic leaching into their town. Strong and caring, she’s the heart of the team.
Fun facts: she was raised by her grandma, enjoys baking and currently works as a bicycle delivery girl for a local Chinese restaurant.
It’s Arnold! Or Charlie? Maybe Leo.... I’m still working on the name. Any suggestions? This poor guy is the team’s literal eyes in the sky. Of course, because his mind is literally in at least 10 places at once, his train of thought can be difficult to follow.
Fun facts: he can speak a few languages, but he doesn’t know what they’re called. He also hates cats.
Is this outfit totally out of character? yes. Did I draw it anyways because it looks cool? absolutely.
The team’s leader, Rhea! She has faith that people are good at their core, and is prepared to beat it out of them if necessary. Shes relentlessly encouraging and optimistic, and will drag her friends kicking and screaming into better habits and self-love. She thrives on being helpful and feeling needed, but can be overbearing at times. Despite not judging others for needing help, she’s awful at admitting when she needs it-especially emotional support.
Fun facts: She has a younger brother, can’t cook to save her life (so her favorite food is ramen), and works at a video rental store. Also, a large part of her motivation to form a team was based off her love of comic books.
From The Desk Of The Mayor
It has been one week since the terrifying demon attack shook our town. It has been a week of healing and rebuilding, as Swynlake has come together as a community to help the injured and assist those most affected by the attacks. Significant progress has been made, but we know that there is still more work to be done, both to support Swynlake’s most vulnerable populations and to ensure a tragedy like this never happens again.
Our office, along with the Sheriff’s office, has therefore conducted a full investigation into the events that transpired last week.We discovered burnt candles deep within Enchantra’s woods that pointed to a bad actor performing illegal magic, directly leading to the minor tear between Swynlake and the Underworld.
As any citizen is aware of, Enchantra has already been the site of unpredictable magical fluctuations over the summer. Considering both these developments, this office had determined Enchantra is no longer safe for Swynlake’s citizens. We will be closing public access to Enchantra, effective immediately. It will remain closed until the Home Office’s audit of Swynlake is complete.
We understand this will be a shock and a disappointment to many who have enjoyed Enchantra’s beautiful trails safely. We also understand that Swynlake’s fairy community is one of its largest magick populations that depend on Enchantra. Therefore, we have prepared a permit process that will still allow limited access to Enchantra. Anyone who wishes to visit Enchantra will apply for a temporary permit via the Mayor’s office. Fairies will be allowed to renew their permit on a week-to-week basis; other individuals will be decided on a case-by-case basis.
We hope that this solution, which we believe pays respect to Enchantra and its inhabitants, will be one step toward a safer Swynlake for all.
Please email all questions to the Mayor’s Office.
