A friend and follower of mine made a nice observation about Gen's newest Instagram stories, pointing out this is the adult version of Gruns NOT the kids. My friend appears to be correct.

As you can see below (or on the official Gruns website itself), not only are the kid's version of Gruns yellow and adults green, the dosage amount for the vitamins in the adult supplements are DOUBLE that found in the kid's Gruns.

According to some quick research I've done, children especially under the age of 12 should avoid adult supplements even if they are cut in half. Given Odette is what 8 years old now, she doesn't make the cut here, sorry. Certain vitamins like iron and vitamin D can be toxic when invested in too high amounts. Even this website Seattle's Child [funny how their boys were born in Seattle but not Odette] states below about children taking adult supplements:

Never give children adult vitamins – even if cut in half – because children's nutritional needs are not the same as adults', especially for Vitamin D, copper and iron. • Potent prenatal vitamins, with their high iron content, are particularly bad for children.

Also:

For all vitamins and minerals, more is not better, and experts advise against giving children mega-vitamins. "Anything that's marketed to adults shouldn't be given to kids," Kjeld says.

The biggest problem is with the fat-soluble vitamins – A, D, E and K. Small quantities are needed for good health, but the body stores the extra amounts in the liver and they can build up toxicity. Vitamin A is often prescribed to boost the immune system, but too much can cause bone loss and liver problems, while too much Vitamin D is toxic to the kidneys.

I mean.... she's clearly given Odette the children's version of Gruns before, so why is she advertising Odette as now getting the ADULT version of this supplement? An honest oversight on Gen's part at best grabbing the wrong supplement, irresponsible parent at worst if she seriously decided to "upgrade" Odette to the adult version for the sake of "getting more vitamins in".

I'm also gonna leave it up to you all to figure out what the other issue at hand could be with Gen's Instagram stories of the day, as this is something other people have noticed and brought up to my attention in recent months. I'm just saying, Gen's overall yet superficial message of teaching good health to her children isn't passing the vibes check here...

So, I'm watching Rugrats, and it's very, very concerning how often Didi is unaware of where her FUCKING INFANT is. Like, Tommy can walk, so seeing him wander to another part of the house isn't terribly surprising. But Dil being carried around (and outside?!?!) by toddlers with no one realizing that he's gone? Wtf???
