My cat just saved me from being the neighborhood scandal. She usually meets me at the door trips me up with love while I wrestle myself out of my work clothes and into my house hoodie. Instead, today she saw me in the doorway and ran straight to the sliding door and started clawing the blinds. My tired brain tried to comprehend this as I started puling up my shirt - why no love? Why scratch? Why living room so bright? Oh, I forgot to close the blinds. I FORGOT TO CLOSE THE BLINDS!
