#is it cheating?

I want to start reading ACOTAR or Fourth Wing but I can't because it feels like cheating on KOTLC. Is that weird? I just don't want to let any other characters come between my brain and Sokeefe. I think I'm probably weird.

Kinktober 2022 / Day 31 Food play: Lando / Max F

[spoiler alert: there's no food play in this. It's just domestic idiocy. Inspired by the prompt, not bound by the prompt. ]

“Truth or dare?” Max picks up a card from the pile in the middle of the floor. They’re both awful options. He skids it into the discard pile and chooses another one.

Lando’s sprawled on the carpet, hands behind his head. He turns his face up to Max, cross-legged opposite him, and tries to read his expression. Max is studiously blank, the card to his chest. “Truth.”

Max pulls the card far enough back to see and turns it truth-end up. “What would you do if you got locked in a supermarket overnight?”

“On or off season?”

“Surprisingly, the card isn’t specific about that,” says Max drily. “You choose.”

“Off, then.” Lando thinks for a bit. “I’d try one of each biscuit. Find out which ones are the good ones. And try all the ice cream. Probably eat too many dried apricots.”

Max nods and discards the card back to the floor as Lando picks one up. “Truth or dare?” 

“Dare?”

“Good choice,” says Lando, still not having looked at it as he lifts the card. “Exchange an item of clothing with the player on your right.” He eyes Max. “Are you wearing anything that isn’t mine?” 

Max fixes him with a look, then opens and closes his mouth and decides against arguing the semantics of mine about clothing. Lando’s already holding out his bracelet anyway, clearly having chosen an alternative definition. Max fumbles with the clasp on his own, hands it over then slips Lando’s on. It’s still warm. He lingers on that thought for a moment as he picks up another card.

“Dare,” says Lando without being asked.

“Oh Christ, no, no—” Max says, trying to dispose of the card a split second after reading it, but Lando’s quicker, has him in a vice grip, silver pressed hard against his wrist bone as he pulls Max off balance to get to the card. He’s far too gleeful as he reads out: “Only answer yes for an hour.”

Max groans and screws up his face. “Don’t. No. Game over. That’s it. No more. I’m done. We’re done.”

“Okay,” says Lando, picking up another card.

“No!”

“Yes.” He’s starting to giggle. “Put on a blindfold and eat whatever your partner gives you.”

“No. I didn't choos—”

“Yes.” The giggles are spilling over into proper infectious laughter and Max knows he’s doomed. Lando rolls himself to his feet and pads into the kitchen. “Don’t look,” he calls over his shoulder.

Max groans again and drops his head, irritating himself with his compliance."You're not going to be a dick about this, are you?" A yes floats back and Max sighs. At least there's no hot sauce in the apartment.

So, crazy idea, since Corey has the Survivalist reward trait, he sleeps better on blow up mattresses.

And he's really been struggling energy wise with a normal bed soooo... Tada! Blow up mattress. 😁😁

Er’eath Mahariel - Hero of Ferelden

I finally made a Mahariel to add to my collection of warden ocs. She is a sly little bard with a penchant for gambling and taking risks; no one ever suspects her of being a crafty assassin because of her innocent face. She was in love with Tamlen and grieved sorely after his death. She didn’t romance any of the love interests in DAO because of it. She wears the vallaslin of Anaris, one of the Forgotten Ones.
