anyway. in other news i have awoken from my summer fling coma and realized it was never that serious.

Okay I just need to tell this story: when I was a senior in high school we had a Free Day where we basically just reported to class like usual and watched movies all day. It was on the school system and would be the same from one room to the next so you could watch the entire movie. The longer the film the better for the staff because they didn’t have to change it as often.

Anyways.

I was sitting next to this girl in biology when the movie Troy was put on (you know the one with Brad Pitt?) She and I were talking and I made some joke about “Achilles heel” and how basically poor Brad was doomed.

She got wide eyed and exclaimed “SPOILERS”

Now, I do understand not wanting to know about a main character’s death in a major motion picture. However… I feel like if the story is technically hundreds of years old and there is a whole ass Term/Turn of phrase that exists revolving around the death of said character in said story then that, technically speaking, isn’t a spoiler. The person in question just wasn’t putting all the facts together… but then again maybe I’m just mean?
