so now i'm just picturing like... Scott falls asleep in the middle of a pack meeting and everyone is just... standing there going '...should we get a blanket?? idk that doesn't look very comfortable maybe we should wake him up to get to bed... but he probably won't he'll just say he's fine... but we can't just leave him there he'll have a crick in his neck... do werewolves even GET cricks in their neck' and Isaac just SIGHS and eyerolls and picks Scott up and Scott burrows into his shoulder and then Isaac gets Scott upstairs and... uh. And... well, the upshot is that when Scott wakes up in the morning he still has his arms around Isaac's shoulders and his face buried in Isaac's shoulder, and Allison is curled against Isaac's back with her arms around his waist and Isaac is just going '...I think I had a dream about this once... and by 'about this' I mean everyone had a lot less clothing and their hands in much more interesting places :/'

Thank you guys for putting all this together! As for Skittles, I'd say leave it out.

Imo it would be better to leave both Stydia and Skittles out - it's no fun, at least for me, to enter an event like this one and have one or two pairings running the whole show, regardless of whether or not I ship them. I prefer variety

Thanks for all your hard work! I'd vote for leaving skittles and stydia out completely, since they're hardly rarepairs at this point.

Sciles/Skittles is big enough for its own Big Bang now. I think not including it in the rpe is fine.

Thanks guys, we'll get that feedback added to what we're getting from the survey so we can keep it all in mind. :)

That said, we're definitely in agreement that Skittles and Stydia don't really count as "rarepairs" any more - they may not be the fandom dominating monolith of Sterek, but when you're getting 4-600 new fics in 4-5 months, you're just not in the same leaky boat as ships with less than 250 fics total to their name. Our main sticking point when it comes to round three is less whether skittles and stydia count as rarepairs, but the fact that we did say on a few occassions that this round would be open to everything except Sterek and we don't want to just turn around on our word - but we also feel that they'd just muscle out a lot of smaller ships if we let them stay.

And since we try to be as transparent as possible about what we're doing and why, and since, when it comes down to it, we're running this exchange for you guys rather than us (which is why we don't limit pairings or kinks based on our own preferences and why mod!Astrid has twelve layers of checks built into matching to avoid prioritising her faves/deprioritising her notps) we thought asking for feedback/letting you guys decide was the best option. :)

Given the current statistics, if Skittles and Stydia do end up being allowed this round it will probably be their last, barring another major fandom patterns shift, but we will of course review everything again before round four.
