The Inheritance Games headcannons (spoilers)

(I think this is cannon) Every Christmas, they all gather at the Hawthorne house and play that game, even after Libby is with kids

I one of them is missing, Nash will personally find them and drag them back for their yearly Christmas tradition

Max also visits once and teams up with Avery

Max, Avery, Gigi, Lyra (and a reluctant Savannah) start a bookclub

Xander helps Libby bake

Everyone knows when Libby is stressed, that's when her pastries are perfect and the kitchen smells like baked goods

It's practically a universal truth now

Rebecca starts laughing more and takes more part in Xander's pranks

It drives Gray, Nash and Alisa insane (but they are secretly glad that she's finally laughing and happy so they let it slide........most of the time)

Avery sneaks Gigi coffee

Savannah and Avery clear up the 'stuff' between them and actually make a formidable team

Gigi gave Avery a kitten once

Since this year's game recruited ppl without the media's knowledge and it has been barely a week, Lyra's parents' had no idea where their daughter was

They thought she was at college/uni

Safe to say she they were very surprised when they saw her, holding the second eldest, and most stoic and cold Hawthorne's arm on TV

After the live 'show' thingy (lol I forgot what to call it) was over and the camera was off, they immediately called her and she panicked cause she realized that she forgot to tell them before going live so she immediately threw the phone to Xander

Who promptly threw it to Avery thinking that they were playing catch (cause these ppl have so much money that they play catch with their phones) who also snorted and threw it to Max, who threw it to Jameson

And when she finally came out of her shock, Lyra was like "Idiots, that's my phone, I just panicked"

They apologized and gave her her phone back

Safe to say, he parents were pretty mad and (kinda) grounded her

Gray visited Miles End first and wasn't sure how to act so he was nervous

They realized that he wasn't always the calm composed person they saw on TV

They thought it was sweet that he was nervous when meeting his gf's parents

Keith became Gray's father figure

He would try to help Keith when he was fixing stuff 'to prove himself' (he would mess it up anyways)

They would assure him that they love him as he is and is enough

He and Lyra's mom bonded over their love for the most bitter herbal tea which makes their partners (who have a sweet tooth) and everyone else, gag

He helped Lyra's mom write a poem for her novel and even helped her get a title for it and proofread it

They all visited Miles End once and Lyra's family visited the Hawthorne House once too (Lyra's younger brother got lost in there and thankfully he wasn't in any of the secret passages)

Keith got lost in there and ended up in Nash's room and was slightly confused

Lyra's younger brother loves Xander and Avery (cause she's a children's person)

Xander teaches him how to prank ppl and gifted him his first ever glitterbomb on his birthday (in secret of course)

He became fast friends with Rohan and Mattias (much to Gray and Keith's annoyance)

Rohan ragebaits everyone

there would be far more fights if Accacia, Keith and their gf's hadn't stopped them

the whole family went to meet Isaiah (who made something else along with his son)

And Accacia, along with Zara and Alisa practically became everyone's mother figure (and would occasionally spoil them)

They visited Jamie's uncle, Simon, once and practically eviscerated Jameson about with fake British accents (and being British royalty)

His uncle joined along with the fake British accents teasing

"Simon, how do you normally say 'a bottle of water'?" "A bo'uh o' wa'uh"

They ended up ragebaiting, not only Jameson, but Rohan as well (on accident)

Gray was traumatized when he found out about Slater

And he glares at his sister's bfs every chance he gets

Acacia and Isaiah...

Can we plz talk about the concept of Acacia and Isaiah getting involved, romantically. That would be hell of an incest. Grayson and Xander would probably explode. Imagine you will, your dead father's wife (practically your mother figure) pursuing a relationship with your half brother's father OR your half brother's half sister's mother and your father hitting off that would make you a step brother to your half brother's half siblings and your father will turn out to be kinda stepfather to your half brother and his half sisters (that means Gray and Xander will both have Acacia as a step mother and they will be basically step brothers but they are already half brothers through a woman who is the reason for all this complications). WHAT IN THE F*CKING FAMILY TREE??. That Isaiah Alexander and sheffield Grayson basically had the same taste in women and they gotta pull the same women. TWICE? First Skye then Acacia. Imagine Isaiah and Acacia adopting the rest of the Hawthorne brother's and be a big freaking family (they need to adopt Rohan too, he's homeless, jobless, motherless, fatherless...) I need somebody to make a big ass family tree for them.NOW!!!

tgb au where all the brothers spawn in Keith's house because they wanna get along with toddler Skyla but she doesn't like any of them so they go to Keith for help considering he's great with kids and the second Keith walks in the room, Skyla crawls to him all giggly and the brothers are minorly jealous and end up taking classes from him but only Xander succeeds so now Keith has 3 brothers to teach how to get along with Skyla but it's like every weekend it ends with them arguing

2 things Nash taught Xander & 2 things Xander taught Nash 😃😏

I spent a lot of time thinking about this and finally had in inspiration!

1- Xander most definitely was the one to teach Nash Gen-Z lingo (or circulating internet lingo in general) and Nash was probably so confused lol.

2- In Games Untold Nash was gifted a motorcycle to fix, that's his hobby, but also Xander worked with his father and probably learnt some tricks from him and taught them to Nash :D

Xander being the genius he is makes this a bit difficult AND after a lot of thinking I'll be going with these:

1- I remember there has been a throw away comment about Xander needing to work harder to fit in or something, and kids are mean tbh, so when he got home one day where he was bullied, Nash was the one to teach him self defense, unlike how Jamie and Gray chose martial arts as their skill for the year.

2- I'll go with driving for some reason lol. They were driving somewhere and Xander asked Nash to teach him how to drive, it surely was an experience for both of them (terror and delight)

Alexander 'Xander' Hawthorne Headcanons!

Ethics and philosophy lover

Knows anything and everything about methods of transportation, think cars, trains, submarines

Very knowledgeable about stars as he tried to impress his mother with facts about constellations. She ended up teaching him astrology in a cafe and they made a game out of guessing people's star signs. It was a game that they played for a few months, but it's one of his fondest memories of her.

Takes his haircare routine very seriously. His brothers tried switching out the contents of hair products into other bottles and Xander tried to kill them.

Loves vegetables, hates fruit.

No one knows about the stories and fanfiction he's written. He's a bit embarrassed of what he wrote, not because of the contents but because he never finished writing them.

He's a slow driver because he gets distracted by what he sees. He almost always takes the scenic route.

He was an academic validation girly, and is still somewhat scared of failure. He knows it's all bullcrap, but he can't help it.

A lot more introverted than most people think.

Loves being able to speed up songs, movies and tv shows. He thinks that everything is too slow.

This is why he loves Gilmore girls.

A huge fan of cringe teen drama movies and shows. He just finds them funny and likes bugging people with references.

Sci-fi and fantasy media is what made him a robotics and STEM fanatic. He needed the star wars androids to be real.

Loves card and board games.

Plays nyt games daily.

An exceptional sword fighter (lightsabers taught him well)

Clicks his fingers when anxious.

Is not a huge fan of music but he'll listen to anything

Picked up self help and psychology books when Grayson and Jameson stopped speaking to each other.

Likes mecha anime.

He knows a lot of the family tea and general facts about his family due to Tobias. His brothers find things out about their family and he’s all ‘yeah? I thought that was common knowledge 🤨’

In his daydreams, he’s either an assassin or a journalist who got bitten by a radioactive spider

Has run to grocery stores in cosplay attire

He has a throwaway account where he cosplays sometimes

Goes to conventions

Does not like public speaking

Loves being put into groups by teachers. He gets an excuse to talk to people he wouldn’t have talked to otherwise.

He never acknowledges how he feels. Got by in Hawthorne house by being obsessed with robots instead of living up to expectations. He still sort of feels the pressure but ignores it because it ‘wasn’t as bad’ as the pressure Grayson and Jameson went through.

Fades in and out of awareness. Like he is either hyper focused or mentally not here.

He is a clone of his dad personality wise but Isiah is just quieter about his crazy.

Always looking for someone to match his freak.

Always had the best Halloween costume, which pissed his brothers off.

Always a little bit worried whether or not he comes off too strong.

Paces frequently when his emotions get out of hand. He’ll go rigidly still with subtle twitches in his expression, and then he’ll go back to pacing.

He was glad but guilty that he didn’t face the exact same pressures of his older siblings. Being the baby does have its perks, and one of those perks is less responsibility.

Honestly, I think he got along well with Tobias because he fit the invest, cultivate and create thing the best out of his siblings. Cultivating and creating come naturally to Xander, he just needed the money for all of his interests.

I really need JLB to do a deep dive on Xander because everyone is all ‘Grayson’s trauma’ ‘Jameson’s trauma’ but they all grew up in Hawthorne House so what’s going on with Nash and Xander and Zara and Skye?
