Happy Thanksgiving week to all my US friends. I told my husband that we were going to do something low stress this year, but it’s not quite shaping up that way lol. It will all work out, though. #serenitynow 😆 _____ As for skincare, I’m back on the benzoyl peroxide + sulfur wagon. It can be drying and also bleach fabric, but nothing zaps my zits as quickly as that combo. The acne spots I’ve been battling for weeks have finally drained and flattened- I used BP+sulfur on them. So, I bought a new Amorepacific Vintage Single Extract Essence to replace the PR sample I emptied, but I want to finish up this Su:m37 Secret Essence before opening the AP. _____ I can’t recall exactly why I stopped using the Su:m37, but so far it’s ok. It’s got a nice scent and is slightly thicker than the AP, and has a lot more ingredients. IIRC, it has around 80 plant extracts. It looks like I’ve unofficially moved to a once a week posting schedule, but not really. I will explain... _____ I know many have mentioned how much the algorithm sucks and engagement, too, etc... I guess it’s my turn. Haha. @instagram is frustrating and ever since “engagement” became a thing, it’s sucked much or the fun out of posting for me. I used to post in a carefree way and not care about my likes or number of comments, but now Instagram has forced me to start caring and that’s become a drag and I’ve felt less and less motivated to post. _____ I’m blocking ghost followers, but that takes time, too. I’ve thought for a while that there is something unusual about the texture of the Makeprem UV Defense Me sunscreen, and it took me a while to put my finger on it. I finally figured it out... it’s a cream that glides on with watery feel. As I spread the cream across my face and neck, it changes to a watery texture. Sometimes it takes me a while to put my thoughts into actual words 😆, but I like this sunscreen!
