oh my god, you’re asking a linguist this.....

personally, i love portuguese (which might have something to do with the fact that it’s the closest sounding to romanian haha), but i also love russian, i love the sound of slavic languages 

cherokee is absolutely beautiful to listen to and also a great example of a polysynthetic language AND a language with a very unique syllabary writing system that must be preserved!!

but if we’re talking writing system wise, i think georgian wins, georgian script is absolutely gorgeous 

ALSO i would like to give a special shoutout to basque (and here’s a video of xabi speaking basque) because it’s just so unique sounding

3. If you could design your team's kits, how would they look like? 

First of all, we’re getting rid of the “when you gotta play a match at 6 but have to meet your girlfriend’s parents at 7″ collar. Second of all, a clean and neat font. Maybe something san serif? Actually just bring back the 2012/2013 kit, that was peak excellence. AND BRING BACK THE PINK AWAY KIT.

5. Best foods to eat whilst watching a match?

Me, a born and bred Eastern European: sunflower seeds.

Sunflower seeds are the perfect football watching snack.

Hmm, okay this one’s actually really hard. but I want to say Marcelo. He’s basically a left back and a left winger at the same time which is so? ? Who does that? He’s all over the place on the field and so crucial. So fluid with his movements. So skilled.
