Do you think some people had a crush on Kiyotaka ?
Oh, sure. There's the easy answers of Mondo and Chihiro, and under the right set of circumstances I think he could have something interesting with Nekomaru, Hifumi, or Mahiru. And of course, he and Makoto could definitely grow together.
The big thing is, though, if the Tragedy hadn't happened and school had continued, he would definitely have become The Hot Upperclassman in the eyes of someone.
My first thought is Kokichi, just based on the inherent potential of Class 79 Kokichi getting into trouble with Taka and the two of them just generally running circles around each other. Taka learning to anticipate Kokichi's next move in a way that surprises him, Kokichi making Taka laugh even as he has to give him detention.
I think Angie would also have a crush on him. Shuichi might, too.
Taka x Mahiru = rare pair hell. Neither ffn nor Tumblr has anything for this ship (if the latter does, I can't find it)
Here’s something for you! I’m pretty tired so it’s a short drabble, but I hope you like it! (Takes place in V3′s bonus mode)
“Ah, Koizumi-kun!”
Mahiru straightens up and turns, grimacing as the sun hits her eyes. She shades them with one hand, squinting in the direction of the voice. Not that there’s any need–it’s loud and easily recognizable. “Oh…Ishimaru-kun. Did you need something?”
She hasn’t spoken with Class 78-A’s representative much, but Mahiru can say she likes him well enough. She thinks he’s too loud, but he’s trying his hardest to be a good moral compass for his class, and she can respect that. Bitterness fills her mouth as she thinks back to a home and a father who can’t be bothered to take care of himself, much less others. Some guys could certainly learn something from Ishimaru-kun…
Ishimaru-kun snaps to a halt in front of her, spine so straight it makes hers hurt just looking at it. “I am attempting to investigate the ruckus Monokuma caused! Saihara-kun informed me you had photographs of him at the scene of the crime, and I wished to examine them!”
“Oh, yeah, no problem.” Removing her camera from around her neck, she flicks open the photos and scrolls back to the ones Ishimaru-kun needs. She’s not sure what can be gleaned from them, but, well, she’s no Ultimate Detective, or even particularly good at searching for clues.
Mahiru hands it to him. Their fingers brush lightly as he takes it, and for some reason she shivers. The Ultimate Moral Compass doesn’t seem to notice, examining the photos carefully. He smiles exuberantly–everything he does is exuberant, it seems–and proclaims, “These are most excellent photos indeed, Koizumi-kun! Thank you very much!”
“Sure, it’s nothing.”
She expects him to go on his way, but instead he pauses, red eyes sweeping over the scene. “May I ask what you’re doing here?”
Mahiru looks at the ground. A trashcan is knocked over, its contents spilling everywhere. Crumpled napkins, empty water bottles, disgusting bits of food… “I’m just trying to clean up Monokuma’s mess. I know a lot of people are looking for him, but I don’t think I’d be very good at investigating.” She shrugs. “So I help out in other ways.”
“Very commendable, Koizumi-kun! But where are the rest of your compatriots? That–” he winces. “…rather aggressive young lady always at your shoulder?”
“Hiyoko-chan? She said she had better things to do than pick up garbage…what are you doing?”
Ishimaru-kun is crouching, reaching for a banana peel. Though he grimaces and holds it gingerly with two fingers, he doesn’t protest as he carries it to the plastic bag at her feet. “Helping you, of course! It’s very diligent of you to do this on your own, but you shouldn’t have to.“
Mahiru’s temper flares. “Hey, if you think that just because I’m a girl I can’t handle picking up trash–”
His eyes bug almost comically, and he frantically shakes his head. “That’s not what I meant, Koizumi-kun! Simply that, as a man and the Ultimate Moral Compass, it’s my duty to help any young lady, even if she has matters well in hand!”
“Oh.” Her face flames. It’s too easy for her to get snappish and defensive, especially when guys are involved. Ishimaru-kun’s reaction made it clear he’s heard about her legendary scolding, and even if she thinks most people deserve it…well, maybe she’d overreacted and misjudged him. “But…what about Monokuma? Weren’t you going to go look for him?”
“Enough people are doing that already; I have complete confidence in my classmates that they’ll bring him to justice. But no one else is trying to help you, which I think is absolutely reprehensible. So…I’ll do my very best to support you in this endeavor!”
“It’s just cleaning up garbage…” Still, she smiles and accepts his help, and if her heart is a little warmer than the gesture warrants, well, that’s her business.
A/N: I call Kiyotaka Class 78-A′s representative because he’s like. Perfect for the job. Makoto too but I think he’d be all to happy to give the spotlight to Kiyotaka. Also, Class 78 is 78-A here because I’m assuming there are more students in their year besides them.
I could imagine saionji getting all upset at first because she could think that ishi is taking her big sis away from her.. But then she may realize that's not the case and be happy because hiru is happy for finding ishi
Precisely. I could also imagine that if Ishimaru has a bad case of the stutters trying to talk to Koizumi at first, Saionji would ask him to spit it out (since he’s taking up time she’s spending with Big Sis Koizumi) which would get him even more nervous. If Koizumi’s confused at what Ishimaru’s trying to get across, it’ll escalate slightly and yeah… Saionji, even when nice, doesn’t know how to mince or hold back much with her words.
Hence why Hinata and gang come in to distract Saionji away a bit at the beginning, and then once Koizumi’s like “oh ya wanna spend time with me, unprecedented but okay,” she’ll warn him of how abrasive Saionji can be that way he’s not as freaked out or intimidated by it.
Then from there, like ya said, Saionji sees how he makes Koizumi happy, and maybe after he gives her personally some how-to books on little things like obi-tying and clothes repair and the like, Saionji warms up to him like she did to Koizumi. From there, she’s totally chill with it.
