OH MORE SPOILERS OKAY UHH YEET!
In spoffee shop (spooky coffee shop au) Bakura finds out Ryou has an antique ouija board in the worst way possible. ...maybe second worst actually, hmm
Comparison between the original version and mine ;)
17 and 40~
17. Did you make any big permanent changes this year?
I changed my minor twice! From environmental science to sociology. I don’t know if that counts as permanent, though. School is basically the same as last year, just harder and more oriented towards my major.
40. Did anything happen that you were sure would change you as a person but it really didn’t?
Not really? Again, there hasn’t been any huge changes for me, I’m now a week from my twenty-first birthday and I definitely don’t feel like it.

24. favorite scene you’ve ever written
Oooh I just remembered another one! Okay, so the plot of painful echoes is that Vlad was being an asshole and made it so Danny only had a few days to choose between being just a ghost or just a human, because he figured it would be easier to deal with that.
Danny ended up picking being a ghost, but he also wanted to be an ass right back, so he painted his hair and wore clothes over his spandex suit. Vlad started laughing at him ‘haha, you chose to be a weak human’ and Danny just BLASTS THE SHIT OUT OF HIM, taking him completely by surprise. Man, that one was great.
47. how many unfinished ideas/stories are you working on at the same time?
I do intend to finish Civil Conversations at some point, and hopefully Reinvention. I know mosty how Crushing the Code ends but... sort of forgot parts, but I do want to tie that up since there’s only maybe 3 chapters left. So 3, I guess? Besides AiP, which I’m still actively working on.

So, it’s @isisishtar‘s bday! (I kind of have the same feeling as you do a lot of the time, about bdays, so know it’s not just you) I really liked that little cute scenario from your au we talked about, so have a gift ficlet! Context: In Egypt, Bakura rescued Malik as a kid and now they’re growing up together. Not really shippy as they’re both still kids in this.

Author name: Shadowofthelamp! Look, I like what I’ve got.
Fandoms you write for: Yugioh, Invader Zim, Steven Universe, Gravity Falls... my ao3 fandom list is pretty long.
Most popular one shot: A venom kinkfic, which kind of makes sense. (That’s for ao3, since the stuff on ffnet is all old and had more time to accumulate views.)
Most popular multi-chapter: Adventures in Parenthood, by a loooooong shot, with 2k more views than my collection of smutty SU oneshots and everything else is less than 2k in general. When compared to ffnet, though, Dib’s Birthday has it beat by 12k views. That story also has more chapters and is eight years old, though.
Favourite story you wrote: I still have a big soft spot for Crushing the Code, honestly. Although weirdly enough, the abridged feefshipping thing for that trade last year is probably right up there.
Story you were nervous to post: The one involving self-harm and Ymalik, just because it was really personal. I don’t know what I would have done if someone had come after me for being trivializing or whatever.
How do you choose your titles: I just try to pick a few words or a general idea that represents the fic somehow.
Do you outline: Most of the time, I write oneshots, so I don’t really need to.
Complete: Most of my multichapters don’t get finished if they’re more than a couple chapters, which is why I really want to be sure AIP does.
In progress: Currently, AiP is the big one.
Coming soon: The potential AiP sequel, as well as something to do with vampire bee Dib.
Do you accept prompts: Yeah! I can’t guarantee anything but I always like getting them.
Upcoming story you are most excited to write: Bee boyyyyyyy, mostly because I’m having a lot of fun with the time au stuff here already
