That anon was both rude and wrong, The Smallest Man Who Ever Lived tour performance is very MCR inspired in my opinion as a fan of both artists! We know she loves emo music from that period as well so I don't think it's a a jump at all. At the very least they are both being inspired by the same source material! (This is ohdorothea's main blog lol)

yes i completely agree! her jacket was very black parade esque, along with the drumline and everything. she even dies at the end of the song!!!

i would actually love to do a more in-depth analysis comparing that performance to TBP era music videos and performances someday. i think a lot of people forget how big MCR and emo music generally were back in the 2000s, when taylor was a teenager. being friends with hayley williams, song with her and one with fall out boy, it's really not a stretch to assume she likes MCR or at least put TBP on once in a while as a teenager!

Barry my dear MCR friend and mutual!!! So I was wondering about the three cheers remaster??? I added it to my library but when I went to play it yesterday it like won’t play and then it saw it actually comes out in June lol??? I feel like I’ve seen some things about their label being at fault but I thought I’d ask you for your thoughts??? ❤️🖤❤️🖤❤️

you arent crazy dw lol. As far as we can tell, their label Reprise essentially fucked up and released he album early and just did nothing about it for like 36 hours. The record in full wasn't meant to be out until june but reprise is seemingly incompetent which ive been bitching about for a good while now. Heres a google drive w the full remastered album, I 100% suggest downloading it and checking it out it sounds great! Theres also been a 4k remaster of the original music video for im not okay that look beautiful that replaced the original that i 100% suggest checking out
