Hess’kela’nuruodo (weird Chiss in the middle) and almost all the AU!Thrawns I’ve produced so far.
It all started with Art is... as my very first full scale Thrawn fanfiction. That wasn’t an AU, but it gave birth to Hess’kela’nuruodo, that became kind of my mascot by now. The baby is not just a baby, it’s actually the one from my very first and yet unfinished AU (silly shit with lothcats and lots of space magic, nothing special) - due to time collapse a kid Thrawn takes place in that story and does a lot of silly, but thrawn’ish things. I was yet too shy to move such ridiculuos changes in canon, so this was totally a joke.
And the weirdo in glasses is the one from Rock!AU where he, Arihnda, Rukh and Tarkin himself make a rock band https://iskelan.tumblr.com/post/178182411537/lionesshathor-iskelan-i-just-needed-this . This one also was kind of joke, but I worked much harder on it, so it’s not complete absurd and has some tragicomic element in it.
The very first full grown AU appeared when I started writing Happy Memories. That’s a complete AU where there is no Empire and Thrawn’s life’s path moves very differently after his exile. He crossovers with wrong people, recieves some significant damage and loses his memory, and since then he lives almost four years in completely ruined state, waking up every morning to realize he doesn’t remember even his name.

Another thing that developed accidently, but eventually grew wide and keeps growing is the Thrawnpunzel thing. Well, let’s say I just have some strong hair-fetish, and it doubles when related to Thrawn. Not to say this figure represents very well metaphorically me and my problems, that can’t be cut away easily. The winged guy... is chronically unrelated. The AU he is from is only upcoming, developing in my mind and in text, but where the text is, there is a lot of concepts I’m gonna draw.

Now I look at them and it feels good and weird at the same time. I am still a little bit ashamed of the fact I run further and further away from the canon every time, but still get stuck to the characters, playing with the same person, watching it’s developement from different sides in different circumstances. Well... that’s not something that’s gonna make me popular, I guess. But it seems that that’s something I really love to do.
