Today’s #bikeandwalktoschoolday wasn’t her best. New backpack 🎒 is still too big, still too heavy, and was hitting her seat making it difficult to balance. The increase of foot/wheel traffic was stressful as well. We’re looking out for everyone else because no one knows what they’re doing. It actually was a relief to get on the road. Highlights how inadequate our ancient sidewalks are in handling any increase in traffic. C-Pike is slated to have major changes instituted making this trip a little easier for everyone involved in getting places. Unfortunately, they aren’t scheduled until 2019, Syd’s last year at Hoffman-Boston. Regardless, I’m going to keep working on making this incredibly short commute safer for those coming after us. While she won't be racing it this season, riding the @islabikesusa Luath 24 has been nothing but a positive experience for #TheBug. It's light (WAY easier to pick up than her previous 20"), perfectly balanced, and will fit her for good amount of time.
