Histology. I've always found histology too detailed and boring, but only after my clinical rotations that I came to realize how important it is. Histology is the basis of medicine.
I didn't finish it yet but hopefully tomorrow? We will see..

Some days are monotonous, others bring many emotions.
This 48 days productivity challenge made me take so many pictures and track not only my studies but also my thoughts and feelings. I tried journaling before but I found it hard to put everything in words. So pictures DO speak louder than words. That's another reason to love tumblr <3

The second cup of coffee didn't save me from that inevitable nap, but it was just for 30 min ( and it felt like sleeping for 6 hours ).
Yesterday was all about genetics, I made sure to finish it before I sleep so that I only solve its related MCQ tomorrow inshaAllah. Some parts were hard to digest but some were very interesting.
( On a side note: it was mentioned that breast cancer can be an autosomal dominant disease, which means if someone is affected they can transmit the abnormal gene to every generation of their decendants. So, ladies, if your grandma had breast cancer, your mom, aunts, sisters, cousins and you should pay more attention to the state of your breasts starting by a monthly self examination. I hope you all will be safe and sound 💗 )

I woke up for fajr but I couldn't study because of the fever so I slept again and had a lazy morning. I even made this granola pudding, inspired by a random video I saw somewhere..
I studied a lesson or two but I couldn't focus because of the headache and all the heartbreaking scenes in Palestine. I hope I will be more productive tomorrow inshaAllah.

I had a small cup of coffee in the morning because I couldn't resist all the videos about the benefits of coffee sent by my aunt after she knew I don't drink coffee.. so here I am adding "coffee" to the tags ( she is responsible for the monster I will become if I don't sleep at night ).
So, I solved many many MCQ, mainly about embryology, then I studied genetics at night.

The morning was dedicated to genetics questions and the results were satisfying enough.
Then, not for the purpose of self-destruction but solely because of the educational urgency, I jumped to neurology. I was supposed to study psychiatry and orthopedics first but one should respect priorities.
I started with the surgical part of it because it's not complicated. Epilepsy can wait.
I feel like I caught cold or covid or whatever and I'm afraid I won't stay on track. Inshallah it won't happen..

Fridays are beautiful <3 I enjoyed starting the day with a nice podcast episode while making a sandwich.
Unfortunately I couldn't finish ob/gyn today, but I had a nice shower so I forgive myself ( I am in a healthy relationship with my self, she was busy so she couldn't finish her tasks and I believe her ).
