The snow has melted and the sun has risen. It looks like spring has finally sprung. With the warmer weather, Susie thinks it’s time to try a soft launch of her soft serve.
Not that soft serve is the only thing she’s selling if her brand-new cart is anything to go by. In bright, cheery letters, the side reads “Susie’s Scoopsies!” (In smaller letters: “A subsidiary of SusieCorp.”)
She’s peddling her wares by the Golden Ward beach. Overhead, a flurry of kites fly by. When someone walks up to her, she gives them a wave before adjusting her pinstripe suit.
“Hello there! Care for a cup of Doppin’ Dits? They’re the ice cream of the future!” (A slogan which she definitely came up with herself and was not at all inspired by a marketing tie-in.)

Nathaniel looked down at the clay pot that was placed into his hands. After a rather elaborate body scan, one of the white robbed workers handed him a pot, saying that the flower that would best suit him was planted and waiting to bloom. Apparently he was allowed to keep the plant, though he was not one for taking care of them.
“...whatever am I going to do with this?” He asked aloud, his gaze remaining on the pot in his hands.

He’s there with plate of takoyaki, lacking a bit of caution for no more than couple of seconds. The sound of the smaller fireworks they share in the ward doesn’t quite reach his ears until it’s close, just a little along his cheek it goes and the takoyaki plate slips from Ogata’s hands into the ground. At least there’s no harm to the remaining eye, just the scrape in the cheak.
“ So are you missing braincells or just eyes or just where are you trying to aim huh? “
@boyexorcist. // springtide!
Mitsuba was humming a lot.
Maybe it was just something about the atmosphere of the Festival, maybe it was a combination of that with the way his life had been... well, really good recently, actually -- but Mitsuba was in one of the best moods he’d been in for a long time. Springtide popping up had him noticeably excited, if his spam of texts to Kou to come over and the bounce to his walk was anything to go by, and the more he hummed the more obvious that fact was.
He didn’t even care if Kou was really fully behind him, or as invested as Mitsuba was in it.
Mitsuba had set his mind to hunting eggs and he was going to hunt eggs.
But -- well. Kou seemed a bit distracted. So Mitsuba stopped in his tracks and whirled around on his heels, leaning in waaaaay too close.
The eggs could wait. Taking advantage of the situation that had been presented to him could not.
“Mi-na-mo-to-ku-n.”
(So maybe he’d called him Kou-kun once. And maybe he was too embarrassed to do it again just yet. That secret weapon could wait. Good mood or not, Mitsuba wasn’t really willing to deal with being flustered.)
“You’re not paying attention! You should be looking for eggs! You don’t know what you could find in them, y’knowww. I heard some people were even getting frogs!”
“Oh, oh, I get it, I get it! You’re too caught up in how cute I’m being, aren’tcha? ♪ I’m not part of the huuunt, Minamoto-kun!”
@duoxity
“From what I heard, it’s a cute little game that you can make your own town and rule it however you want. I’ve been thinking of what kind of animal I should pick. For you it would be obvious, but if an Ox isn’t an option, is there any other animal you would pick?” Another festival in this island that made the blonde curious as to what these guys have plan. Something that didn’t seem as life threatening as most events tend to be. At least this one he can see what other things there is to do. Even if video games are not always his go to.
“If I had to pick, I would choose a cat character. Even though people would say I’m more of a cunning snake if anything.”
While Susie’s not the biggest fan of the Fibonacci Institute and doesn’t understand what they’re doing in Cotes — Really. Shouldn’t they stick to one ward? Who do they think they are here, her? — she’ll make an exception for the sake of friendship, and she won’t say no to a free plant either. Besides, she’s already spent enough time in the Babie Town Life game to get interested.
“Look, Vari!” she says when she steps off the platform, holding up a pot with a ranunculus seed. “They gave me a plant for my dazzling beauty. A pretty nice compliment, wouldn’t you say?”
“Anyway, I don’t mean to put you on the spot. What kind of plant did you get, Stilou?” She raises herself up as high as she can, trying to see what she has in the pot.
