With her arms held high above her head, Red thrust the Transistor right through a shade that had been trying to harm them; sparks of electricity coursing through the creature as it shrieked and promptly died at her feet. One after the other, the woman had been tearing through the enemies that came at her; careful to only use her ability one time, but perhaps that would end up being one too many.
These things-- they weren’t as strong as the Process, but if she were to face a large number of them at the same time, she knew she wouldn’t last very long.
[ Red, another one! ] skidding on her heels, the woman was quick to lift up the broadsword one more time-- driving it deep within another creature and ripping through its body. No sound escaped her other than heavy breathing, staring at the dead thing on the ground before she began to back away; falling to the ground on one of her knees.
[ Hey. You okay? ] concern filtered through the Transistor as her hands gripped around its hilt; resting her head against the weapon as she shut her eyes and breathed deeply. They had been trying to find these cables for what seemed like hours, always interrupted by something that wanted them dead. If she tired herself out doing this, she knew they wouldn’t make any progress-- but what were they supposed to do?
Suddenly, a noise behind her caught her attention; Red whipping her head around as she brought the Transistor up in a defensive position. She couldn’t see past the rubble around her, but would be prepared to strike at whoever decided to make their way towards her.
