I did this when I started playing Stardew so I'm gonna do it for Andromeda because it's a fun little thing.
My OCs in Andromeda:
Darren Aeducan's dual fields in topography and meteorology made him part of the first stasis revival waves on the Nexus, especially since the golden worlds turned out to be pyrite (fool's gold… laugh at my mineral joke). He was exiled for siding with the uprising and launching several satellites with a small group in an attempt to find a habitable world or at the very least resources. Darren eventually aids Ditaeon Outpost on Kadara but does not officially rejoin the Initiative.
Tirena Amphion was pulled out of stasis on the Ark for- you can probably guess- her talent for killing things with guns, fists, and biotics. She becomes a part of APEX and fights alongside some Resistance members on Voeld after the embassy is established on Aya. One day she might start her original Initiative job in toxicology but killing Kett is just as, if not more, fun.
I didn't do her in the Stardew one, but Issqun is in one of the commerce pods (the AVP thing the Pathfinder can do). She's excellent at negotiating, understanding and bending rules, and keeping needs supplied throughout the Nexus and Outposts over wants. It's written in her contract, or whatever that document would be with the Initiative, that her daughter be revived with her. Don't do it and face her wrath.
I'm currently playing with Mio as Pathfinder but if she wasn't and I didn't replace the Ryder family with hers… Damioluvun Lavellan works with the cultural department, not only for cooperation and cohabitation with the Angara but to continue improvements among the Milly Way species. She has a very Salarian mindset that technology fixes practically everything and became a tech of all trades because of that. The Cultural Center Liaison doesn't appreciate her tweaking the VIs to say actual history and facts instead of the "happy history" front they have. Her large family is spread out over many pods and departments from Exiles to Outposts, some dead most alive.
