Tim awoke within a room that was stale aired, pitch black, and completely soundless. He was ill, and even if he HAD been able to move, the shackle around his ankle meant he would not be leaving anytime soon. As far as Dick knew, he was dead, and that put him at Jason's mercy. To make matters worse, the man was dead-set on him being his personal plaything, a pet of sorts...
At first, Tim wants nothing more than to get strong enough to make an escape. But after a while, once he's truly gotten to know the former Robin, he's not quite so sure he wants to leave anymore. Or if Jason could take it if he did- of course, that's when everything falls apart.
Tim knows he's not the same person he was before the bunker- and he can't go back to being him either. He's never going to let anyone control him, keep him locked up, ever again... he refuses.
But Gotham needs Batman- and Jason is the only one willing to shoulder that burden.
Tim has always said that Batman needs a Robin- but it looks like it's Jason that needs a Tim...
Guys imagine if batman!Jason's(not necessarily injustice universe but in general) robin was one of these kids
Mar'i grayson.
Just imagine it i mean honesty I can see this happening in the future. I freaking loved redhood and the outlaws and I truly believe Kori wouldn't mind if mar'i became the robin to jasons batman. Obviously later on she switches to nightstar
Janet aka a bat grandkid from Batman: Lost #1 now obviously she's most likely tims kid since Janet was his mom's name in New earth continuity. Now I for one loved the dynamic that tim and Jason had during the new 52 batbooks and just the 20teens in general and considering that, I can just see Jason as batman Taking Janet on as a protégé because honestly if we look back at new 52 tim who said and I quote
"you came back to life, jason. After you were murdered. That was alot to digest. I get it. Maybe we'll all get it someday."
I don't think tim would have that much of a issue with Jason training his daughter.
Same as above i can totally see one of these kids being the robin to their uncle Jason's batman! One of the others can be batling or kid bat and just to mix it up maybe the next spoiler can be one of the boys
Honestly I can see Jake totally being robin after his sister then being batlad or something.
Honestly i can see John as being either robin or batlad/batboy. Yes I know dick in batman beyond hates the idea of his non superpowered kid being in the hero life but damn it Barbara would so be for it(shut up im using logic here based on Barbara interaction with the next person on this list!)
This woman Elainna Grayson if given the chance she would have totally been robin if not for her dads overprotectiveness. I hope they continue to use her in the batman beyond comics especially since they set up Barbara being her mentor
Athanasia Wayne
Oh lord imagine this lol i wanted this so bad in injustice so I decided that in my AU THIS WILL HAPPEN! Athanasia will be the robin to her big bro jasons batman! I HAVE SPOKEN!

Chapters: 2/3 Fandom: Batman - All Media Types Rating: Mature Warnings: Major Character Death Relationships: Dick Grayson/Jason Todd, Tim Drake & Dick Grayson & Jason Todd & Damian Wayne Characters: Jason Todd, Tim Drake, Damian Wayne, Dick Grayson, Alfred Pennyworth Additional Tags: Future Dick Grayson/Jason Todd - Freeform, Bruce Wayne dies at the end of Endgame, No Amnesia, Dick Grayson is Agent 37, But the only one who knew that was Bruce, Jason Todd is Batman, Batman!Jason Todd, Rating May Change, it’ll probably go down, who knows, i sure don’t Summary:
Bruce Wayne is gone. And this time, he isn’t coming back. The abscence of Batman is felt throughout the city of Gotham. Innocents hide and criminals are emboldened.
But the obvious successor to the cowl is no longer an option.
The mantle is a heavy one; a burden not borne lightly. Who can carry it without being crushed beneath it’s weight?
It doesn’t matter what universe it is, Jason will always be a dramatic bitch
Will you be updating legacy of the cowl anytime soon? No pressure at all, I just wanted to know if you had any plans. I was rereading it for like the 10th time and only now noticed that you wrote it! Its one of my favorite fics; theres so few jason as batman fics and you handle it the best and just aghhhh I love it
Oh I’m so pleased you like it!
And yes, actually, I will be updating it. Very, very soon 😏
Here. Have an excerpt:
Legacy of the Cowl, chapt. 2 preview
Then the man reaches up, taps just below his ear, and Dick Grayson’s wide navy blue eyes look back at them.
It feels like they stand there staring at each other forever. Jason knows Tim is feeling the same thing he is. They had hardly dared to hope that the voice on the hidden com line was the predecessor they’d been told had died.
Shock, awe, and relief flood into Jason’s veins like a drug and he fuck if he isn’t so happy Dick’s alive he could cry.
But what’s racing through his veins and what’s crushing his heart are two different emotions. There isn’t a single drop of doubt in Jason’s mind that Bruce told Dick to keep this from them. But Dick knows what if feels like to lose a bro—a loved one. He knows the pain intimately.
And he let them think he was dead anyway.
Would you ever Countdown!Batman Jason entering the main dc universe? Maybe in a world where earth 15 is relatively unscathed by Superboy prime? I think Bruce and the others reaction to a Jason who even as Batman smiles, laughs, cracks jokes, and has visibly noticeable dimples would be interesting.
You have such great ideas!
Yes, this is definitely something I’d be interested in writing.
Can you imagine?
Bruce would be sooooo upset. I honestly don’t think he’d cope well. The only thing that was different is that he died in the desert, not Jason. I think that’s a sacrafice he’d happily make. Especially after seeing how Jason turned out and that the mantel was not just safe in his hands but improved. Especially after seeing a Jason unburdened by the greatest traumas of his life. Jason could have saved Gotham, built a better world, been a better Batman, had a happy life... if only Bruce had died and Jason had lived.
Oh and the angst! With regular Jason feeling so conflicted? He’s happy that there’s a version of himself who’s happy, who didn’t get brutally murdered, wake up in a coffin, have to dig himself out of a grave, and all the other crap. But he’s also trying and failing not to be a little bitter about the fact that he is a version that did have to go through all that 😭
